We bought this for our church rectory. It is much better than we initially expected and we expected less because the price was so amazingly low. The unit takes up about the same space as a kitchen garbage can. The micro shredding and the back feed after a shredding to clear the teeth is a great idea. Removing the shred bin, dumping it upside down into a garbage bag, and putting the bin back into the shedder is easy. The shred bin holds a lot. If the light showing the bin is full, all it takes is to pull the bin part way out, shake it, and put it back to clear the light. There is a lot of room in the shred bin. Easy off and easy on. The bin full light is easy to see. I haven't seen anything I don't like about this shredder. As with anything I review, I always ask the question "would I buy this again?" The answer is yes. We're going to get one to replace our house shredder.

My old Office Depot shredder broke because I fed a solicitation envelope thru it that had a nickel in it for my time. This Members Mark shredder is great. Micro cross-cut for highest security, quiet and has a pull-out bin to dispose of the shredder material. I bought the 12-sheet feeder model and it works fine especially since my prior Office Depot model did about 4 or 5 sheets before choking. Really good buy for the money.

Excellent Shredder - fast and quiet. Shreds all in micro-cut shapes. Had many shredders before but this one is/was the best. Best feature is the multiple pages at one time it can handle and the length of time you can shred before resting period of the shredder. Highly recommend this shredder.

Best value Schredder for home and light business available! I liked my first purchase of this item so much I bought another, and another, and another! Use all 4 everyday, with heavier use than recommended and all just continue to impress me. I have 2 of the older model and 2 of the current model, and the current model is even better with upgraded function and self cooling system!

We went with the Member's Mark brand due to the low price combined with the fact that Sam's Club stands behind the purchase. This inexpensive ($53.98) shredder is up to the task for one or two people. The micro-cut it provides is better than cross-cut for security, and it handles daily junk mail and light ad hoc purging with relative ease. The 12-sheet capacity and 4.49 gal bin is on the low end of duty spectrum, so go with the Member's Mark 18-sheet/6.07 gal bin model ($89.98) if planning to use for more than two people or if you have heavy purging (several years) to do.

Really good shredder! My only issue is that the sensor that says the shredder is full turns on periodically, and I have to shake the shredder to reposition the shredded material inside to make the “full” light turn off. ((When on, the shredder will not turn on.)

This is the best home shredder I've ever had. The cut is so fine and the continuous shredding is outstanding.

It was fine while it lasted. It worked well for almost 4 years then quit. I didn't put in more paper than recommended, nor did I run it longer than recommended, but the motor whirs, it smells hot and won't send paper through or reverse it out. I may still buy another but I will baby it with 3-4 pages at a time and only 3-4 uses at a time.

Alit of thought was put into the design of this shredder. Admittedly, my previous shredder was an old one, so I don't have anything recent to compare it to, but I'm really happy with it. First, it is on wheels, so it is easy to roll it away and out of sight when I'm done with it. Access to the bin is on the side and it easily slides out to empty it. I don't have to lift the heavy shredding unit off of the bin to empty it. This bin has a window so you can monitor how full it is. The shredder stops working and a red light comes on when the bin is full and needs to be emptied. It's quiet enough to watch TV while shredding. It's a cross cut and you can empty the bin into a kitchen trash bag 3 or 4 times before the trash bag gets full. And, of course, it shreds credit cards as well as paper. All at a very good price! My only suggestion would be to please move the power button from the left side to the right side for easier access to it.

A great shredder. 💯% helpful with shredding some documents. I highly recommend it.
