I love this shredder. I had one for a long while and the ease of use and the ease of emptying the bin are amazing features. Recently, I made the mistake of putting a heavy duty credit card in the shredder and it jammed because the credit card had metal integrated in it. BEWARE. There is absolutely no way to unjam this so be careful what you try to shred. Credit card shredding should be for plastic only. However, I went out and bought the same shredder for a second time. I love it that much. Reasonably priced, great shredding and highly efficient and quiet. I only gave this a rating of 4 because there is no way to unjam this unit.

Got this last year and used occasionally without any problem. After a few months, it won’t run continuously anymore, on one second then stop then one second work and stop again like it is tired or something. I am not sure how to fix it, it would take forever for me to shred what I need to shred

The shredder performed poorly. It will NOT track the paper straight. Instead, it turns it at an angle as it shreds causing the paper to bind, sometimes jamming. The shred quality it produces is best described as paper wads instead of shred strips. This new shredder is actually poorer in quality than the worn out one it was intended to replace. In order to submit this review I had to select at least 1 star, I actually would have selected zero stars if the app would let me. I do NOT recommend this product.

I don't usually bother writing a review unless a product is really exceptional or is really bad so after using the shredder, I had to give it 5 stars. My old shredder died, and after reading reviews, went with this shredder and so far, I am pretty happy with this model. It is so much quieter than my old one, shreds much smaller, and has a fan so it does not overheat as quickly as my old one. I also love that it is on wheels so it is easier to move around. The only issue that I had was putting in too much paper and causing a jam. It was not really easy to get it out (the old one never had this issue so that is the only plus for the old one!) Both my shredders have never matched the paper limit and I have found that 2 or 3 sheets max is the best route if I don't want to overload the shredder.

I bought this shredder a few days ago and after using it for about 20 minutes it quit taking paper continuously. Instead it would just pulse on and off until the paper was all the way through. The overheat light was not on and it did not feel hot. I unplugged it a let it sit awhile and still the same thing happened when i tried it again. I ended up returning it.

We chose this unit because it's set up so the basket pulls out sideways (on narrow side). It sits between our table and wall. If it had a front pull out (on wide side of basket) we would have to put the unit in sideways and pull the whole unit out every time we needed to empty it (like our old typical design unit). Reasonable price especially for one with wheels, good size for home use. Shreds into very small pieces. We tested it by shredding 12 sheets at once, not the fastest but works well for us. We typically only have a few sheets to shed at once. It has a main (Master) power switch in the back where you can turn it off and keep it off. If the main power switch in the back is on you can turn it on and off on the top of the shredder near the paper feed. I rated it 4 stars, since we've only had it just over a month or so and it 's worked great. If I knew it would last for a couple more years (I assume it will) I'd give it 5 stars.

For the first few times I've used this shredder it performed well. Now when I try to shred something, the motor just pulses and doesn't constantly run through a single piece of paper. I've turned it off and unplugged it, even after a full day, the motor still pulses and doesn't constantly run. If I press the "run" button, it still pulses. It's useless at this point. Time to see if I can return it.

This shredder sucks. Flat out sucks. Jams up after a few feeds of 2-3 pages, feeder never worked, warranty did not address these issues, I could not be more disappointed in this shredder. I literally threw it out Way too frustrating. Sorry to be so negative but I gave this thing almost 2 years and it did nothing but disappoint. There you go.

False and conflicting advertising copy. Every sheet of paper has twopages (front and back). When you claim 12 sheets at a time, that means 24 pages which greatly exceeds a light duty shredder's capacity. Also, in another part of the description you more accurately claim up to 6 sheets/12 pages which is more accurate. 4 to 5 sheets of 20%23 bond paoer probably more accurately describes the true capacity. Please correct your false and misleading (and inconsistent) product description.

lasted 2 months with regular household mail shredding. teeth jammed with paper only--i typically shred 1 sheet at a time. bought in August 2021. it is now Oct 30 2021 & it's broke. tried cleaning out the teeth with a brush. plugged back in & turned it on & nothing. no power, no nothing. complete garbage & waste of money.
