Brand new right out of the box... paper shredder is not working at all. It will turn on but will not feed paper in the shredder. Pain in the but to return.

I had one of the professional shredders before this one that had thin plastic spacers that caused more jams. This shredder is powerful and very efficient making short work and the cross cut ensures very little left for theives to collect.

This shredder was purchased 13 months ago and used 3 times for light home use. I tried to use it today and it’s not working. I’m having the same issue as the other reviewers. The shredder “pulses” on and off. It will pull in about 1/2 inch then stop then go again, very slowly. It seems like there’s a short in the unit because the power light also dims when it pulses. Unfortunately, I’m just over the one year warranty so there’s nothing I can do. I’m upset because I barely used it. I won’t use it anymore because of the pulse shredding happening, but mostly because it feels like a fire hazard because of the shorting with the on and off of the power light. Save your money and look for a different unit.

I bought this shredder to replace another brand that stopped working. I have to say I was impressed by how quiet this shredder is. It shreds multiple papers effortlessly and I love the slim design. The shredder motor is attached to the frame and the entire unit came pre-assembled. I love this shredder so far. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Out the the box the unit had s smell that I can only describe as warm or overheated. I thouht it was maybe that "new car smell" boy was I wrong. I ran a few pages through it was great. A fan came on so I left the room allowed it to run, came back a bit later an ran a handful of pages and then suddenly the unit just stopped. I tuned it off came back in the morning and as soon as you place one sheet of paper the fan cycles on and the paper will not shred. I will be returning.

After about a year of light use, it started to not run right. Any time I tried to shred something, it would run only for a fraction of a second at a time, stop for a second, then start up again for another fraction of a second, doing this over and over while paper was loaded. I checked all the sensors and tried different power sources, but nothing helped and it's basically unusable now. Thankfully Member's Mark issued me a refund for it. I would only give it one star, but since it worked great at the start, it seems to deserve a second star.

This paper shredder did great the first couple of times when i shredded some odds and ends but the first time i really put it to the test it stopped working and the shred button is blinking green and switches off and on. I`m disappointed because it broke right after warranty went out.

We bought this in May 2021 and within 5 months it started to pulse while shredding and took forever to shred 1 piece of paper. Called and the manufacturer said they would send us a replacement. We received it 2 months later. The replacement started doing the same thing only after 2 months of use. Wouldn't recommend this shredder.

Works mostly as advertised. It is loud. It chews more than shreds, which creates a ton of dust. But it jammed up a couple of times the first time I used it (only shredding 6-8 sheets at a time), and I had issues with the shredder thinking the bin was full when it was empty (due to paper stuck in the blades). The only way I could clear it was to unplug the machine and remove the paper manually. Going to give it another shot, but if the performance isn't more consistent, it will be going back.

Worked great for a while. Then I unplugged it for several months because it wasn’t needed. Now it only shreds for a couple seconds at a time and stops frequently. Even when shredding a single sheet. There is nothing stuck. Reverse works consistently. Bin is not even close to full
