Good screen views, but unless you subscribe you can't save any videos. Battery life is only 1 or 2 days unless you have perfect sunshine all the time. I returned this after about 2 weeks.

Very easy to set up and I love having the ability to set up when the cameras should be armed.

Only one power cable supplied. There are 4 camera's. Dumb!

great little cameras for the money

We love our security cameras! When I found out these will only work with a 2.4GHz WiFi network, I was concerned. I called my son, a computer expert, in my opinion, and he told me, I have a new modem. New modems come with multiple speeds. Sure enough I did! Ours are working great. My husband went outside last night and the spot light came on.

System is very good and overall fairly easy to set up. Takes a little patience but works great once it connects. We have one camera that doesn't hold its charge very well, but the rest last quite a long time. Overall, we love it for the added security.

This product works well right out of the box. The cameras were not shipped with a full charge. The instructions recommend that you charge them to 100% before installing them. But, Arlo only gives you one charging cable for all four cameras. That means that you can only charge one camera at a time, my first complaint. I had to skip this step since I only had a short time to make the installation. I purchased an additional three solar panels because all of the cameras were outside mounts. That is my second complaint. There should be a solar panel for each camera in the box. Once connected to wi-fi through the app, each camera goes through an automated setup process that includes any necessary updates. The cameras were fairly easy to mount. After I installed them, we were hit by tropical storm Fred and lost power. The cameras took a beating from the storm, but did not budge. They were offline until the power was restored my wi-fi router and the solar panels were able to recharge the cameras. Since this was a vacation home, I was happy to be able to check out the damage to my property remotely. Fortunately, it wasn't bad at all.

Old outdated technology but at a great price! Bought this camera set to monitor sump pump and interior of home. I have the Arlo Ultra 2 camera set which has removable batteries for quick replacement and magnetic cord attachment. The Essential has neither and uses the micro usb connection. Lower resolution camera set okay for what I need. Easy installation like the Ultra 2's.
