Towelettes do excellent job if getting make up and dirt off the face. They are gentle to the face and just the right amount of moisture. Having only 9 towels per pkg prevents them from drying out before being used.

I received a towelette sample, and it worked so great I went and bought them, they were a bit pricy but they really work. Maybe next time I'll try generic just to see if it's as good as the Neutrogena brand. Oh and it was easy on my rosacea.
