Great at removing makeup but shortly afterwards around my nose got horrible bumps that became painful. Weeks have gone by and cant get rid of them. Also two small bumps by eyelids have appeared that are painful and eyes have becomeextremely dry. Didnt realize. It was wipes causing problems till I looked up other reviews. Will have yo seek medical attention.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked these make up removing wipes. They worked relatively well in removing my foundation and eye shadow. The eye shadow took a few wipes to get the job done. I'm not sure if that was due to the pigment in the shadow being on the darker side or if it generally does take a few wipes for all shadow. I only wear dark colors. My favorite aspect was they left my skin feeling very soft and clean. Only a mild chemical smell, I prefer more natural scents. But overall a very good product that works as advertised.

I used to love these wipes until a few days ago I noticed my skin becoming irritated around my nose and lips wasn't sure what is was until I started seeing similar reactions. Been using these makeup wipes for 5 years now and never had any problems until recently. Is there a recall on this product?

I used to use these wipes for many years and they always did a good job removing all traces of makeup and left my face feeling soft. However, I started experiencing major facial irritation, almost like a rash or acne on my cheeks, and couldn't figure out what was causing it. I had never had this happen before but I finally stopped using the makeup remover wipes and my face is finally starting to heal. I have redness, bumps, itching, and my cheeks feel hot in the irritated areas. I have never had any skin problems before so this is very frustrating and upsetting. I would definitely never use these wipes again. They must have done something different as I used them for years with no problems and nothing else has changed on my end.

I've been using these for a couple months and every night I use them it makes my eyes burn. I figured it was normal and that all makeup wipes do it but I've tried other brands and they don't cause the burning. Also, for the next couple days after my eyes start to itch really bad and I have finally realized it was from this product.

I bought some and when I used it, the next morning my whole face was peeling and even after putting on soothing moisturizer, burns so bad. I can't even be in sunlight because it hurts so much. I normally have horribly oily skin and after just the one use, my skin is so dry and irritated, you'd think my face was naturally this dry. Be careful.

I have always loved these wipes, up until a couple of months ago I noticed my face, neck, and behind my ears (where I wipe only these wipes) on my skin. I had no clue what this reaction was to. They were tiny bumps that made my skin feel rough and very dry. I recently just saw a post similar to the reaction i had/ have right now again and it all makes sense. I don't know what has changed, but don't buy right now. I have used the same makeup products for over 2 years, and cetaphil face wash& face/body lotion and my body is perfectly fine. Therefore, I know it is the wipes. I have noticed my skin getting a burning sensation as well when I use these wipes, especially around the eyes. Maybe different ingredients are being used.

I was really excited to begin using them, and I had read that they were so effective. I do admit that they are, indeed, very effective. However, the fragrance is so strong, even two washes with an unscented gentle face wash still left my skin smelling like perfume. I was so surprised, given the lack of fragrance in other popular Neutrogena products. I also had a moderate Rosacea flare in response to these which was very uncomfortable. Please do make these in a gentle, effective, unscented formula please! I cannot recommend these

The ‘new and improved' makeup remover wipes are completely different than the original. They are terribly thin and barely take off half the makeup on my face. They grab at my jewelry as they are so thin that they have little holes in the cloth. And the smell is noxious.

I use these make-up remover towelettes every night to remove my eye make-up. They are gentle for the eye area and work very well. (I've always trusted Neutrogena products.) I use another product to cleanse my face, I need something a little more astringent for that. I wish, however, that Neutrogena made a version of this that was half the size, intended specifically for the eyes. I cut these in half, otherwise I'm wasting half the sheet. (and I don't want half as many for the same price. I'd like twice as many, half the size, for the same or similar price.)
