This is the toughest chicken breast I have ever had! No matter how it's cooked, too tough to eat it! A couple of reviews mentioned buying it to cook for their dogs! I understand why! I will go back to Gordon's Foods for my chicken.

Used to buy these from sam's specifically because they were raised cage-free/cruelty free. Looks like they abandoned that and went with a cheaper supplier - yet the price is still the same.

I like the convenience of these frozen chicken breasts. However, they are so large—cut in half would be a decent size portion. Which I did. Even after marinating overnight, they were tough. We have grilled and baked them; still tough. Not sure I’ll buy again.

Bags must have changed because even in the cooler that day chicken bags were broke open an loose in cooler. I would have said something but that SAMS has the rudest ppl workin in there. I did find a bag unopened but when loaded to the car it broke everywhere. Saved most of it. Far as how the chicken is. Well its amazing an so simpal for the days u forgot to defrost dinner. Definetly a pantry staple,

I gave two stars because I do like how each chicken is individually frozen so they don’t stick together but I don’t like how many nasty things are left in the chicken so when they thaw I have to take extra time to clean them. I know it doesn’t bother some people but I’m super picky about it.

Unfortunately even as a frozen chicken the meet quality upon thawing was not the best. The best result for this product is a rapid thaw to ensure it doesn’t get gross. I attempted 2 times now to thaw it in the fridge over night/day and it got a really funky slime and smell to it

I bought these for the first time recently, and will certainly buy them again. I was very pleased with the quality and pleasantly surprised that the breasts were large and pretty uniform in size. One thing about chicken, it can be used in so many ways you can use 10 pounds before you know it. I like to make extra of whatever recipe and freeze some, which is a lot better for you than most frozen meals.

I was becoming upset with the changing of the breast you sold. They were fresh and in regular packs, then changed to member mark 3-4 pcs per pack and 4 packs per bundle. Now there are on 10 lb packages and frozen. These turned out to be very good. There are cleaner than the fresh and really not a problem. Just hoping the changes stop

I like buying in bulk so, this bag is perfect with the amount of chicken you get. The pieces are huge! So much so, I can slice through the middle lengthwise and have two pieces making the bag last twice as long. The only thing I'm not happy with is how saturated with water/broth they are. It really changes the texture of the chicken when they do this and, not to mention, you're paying more per weight. Even after slicing them in half, they blow up like a balloon when frying. You will also notice when you slice through them the texture is more stringy and they will have a bit of a rubbery texture when eating.I have noticed some bags I've purchased are worse than others as far as being saturated with water. The less water, the better the texture and taste. It's basically a hit and miss on this one.

So what I have been doing is unfreezing 2-4 pieces to cook them up at a time. Putting 4 chicken pieces in the oven at a time really makes it easier for me. This also allows me to season them the way I want and get the meal my family enjoys. This makes for simple and easy breakfast times for my family.
