This is truly a value package! Nothing but meat here, no bone, filler or extra fat that you get with regular grocery store packs. Best chicken buy we've found. Taste is wonderful as well.

we bought this chicken to freeze dry for our dogs like a lot of other people. untrimmed and cooked it only yielded 5 pounds 11 ounces. there was a lot of "juice" in the bag when thawed but half the weight is crazy

I gave these a shot because I hate the new Sam's chicken packaging. These are freezer burnt and have a terrible texture that my whole family noticed. Don't try to make chicken cutlets with these rubbery chickens.

Agree with the reviews that the breast are too large. Not sure if they are from a chicken due to fact that three of the breasts weight were one pound each. Weird taste, dry and water logged.

i dont know why but the chicken has an odd flavor after cooking. made several dishes through out the week and the chicken made everything taste gross.. i had to throw away most of the bag because no one wanted to eat it

I like buying in bulk so, this bag is perfect with the amount of chicken you get. The pieces are huge! So much so, I can slice through the middle lengthwise and have two pieces making the bag last twice as long. The only thing I'm not happy with is how saturated with water/broth they are. It really changes the texture of the chicken when they do this and, not to mention, you're paying more per weight. Even after slicing them in half, they blow up like a balloon when frying. You will also notice when you slice through them the texture is more stringy and they will have a bit of a rubbery texture when eating.I have noticed some bags I've purchased are worse than others as far as being saturated with water. The less water, the better the texture and taste. It's basically a hit and miss on this one.
