Worst fryer ever. I bought one and it died pretty quick. It had been only used a handful of times. But it was just out of warranty. Went ahead and bought a second one thinking it was just a fluke. The exact same thing happened. Bought a different brand and that one has been great.

We purchased this to replace the PowerXL Vortex 7 qt which I loved, and which I accidentally broke! This is far inferior to it. It takes longer to air fry everything. In the Vortex the temperature could be adjusted in 5 degree increments; in this one, only in 10 degree increments. The display keeps fogging up. But the tray insert is the worst - instead of holes, it has "slot" openings. If I'm air frying vegetables or anything smaller than a piece of chicken, so much falls through to the bottom. The center indentation is huge, which also causes pieces to pool there. On the plus side (which I don't think there's much of) it holds a large quantity, and cleans up well. All in all, not a great purchase.

We use our fryer a couple times a week to do dinner without heating up the kitchen. We have basically cooked everything in it and has done a great job. Like anything new you have to learn by trial and error to find out what is best. I like the larger size.

This brand does not last. Worked ok initially, but because it is so poorly made, it started falling apart. The basket and holder became very loose together and it would not shut properly. I have a smaller, older model, different brand that still works.

I waited for this to go on sale. The finish is already wearing off the rack. The little rubber feet that protect the basket from getting scratched are coming apart. I contacted the manufacturer. Nothing. To be fair, it is easy to use and great if you have a large family or batch cook/meal prep items. I will use this until it dies and replace with a completely different brand. I would not repurchase.

This air fryer works fabulously....until you inevitable break, dislodge, or lose one of the silicone "feet" that prevent scratching of the non-stick surface as you insert/remove the fry basket. I called PowerXL and the CSR could not find replacement pieces, so he advised that I email them with photos of the parts I need (they are rectangular-ish, approx 1.25" x 0.3" with 2 prongs sticking out of them). Customer Service got back to me quickly...with bad news. PowerXL does not sell the silicone feet as replacement items and recommends that I buy a whole new fry basket...which isn't in stock. Great. We have 3 air fryers (2 are PowerXL 8qts and 1 is a Gourmia), and inevitably the silicone feet come off, get lost, or ruined. The fact that PowerXL does not have replacement pieces for this common occurrence is NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

I bought my current Power XL on Black Friday 6 years ago. It was still going strong until I accidentally put it on a hot burner and melted it. Totally my fault. I was so upset I’m rushing to Sam’s, an hour away from me, tomorrow to get one while they’re on sale. This thing is big enough to roast a whole chicken, as I do often since DH had a heart attack. Great for the kids too. Anything frozen(nuggets, corn dogs, fish sticks, fries etc.) come out perfect. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review but I saw someone said it was small. Like I said…you can roast a whole chicken or roast in it and it comes out so juicy with perfect crispy skin. Hope this helps someone.

Ok. I have my PhD in all things Air Fryer and this thing is the best on the market. I’ve literally used it hundreds of hours. I even purchased a backup to have on hand when she finally kicks the ‘basket’. Favorite item to cook is Bacon. If you’ve not cooked Bacon in an Air Fryer yet then I will pray for you. I haven’t fried bacon in a pan since 2019. Another favorite is to cook Parker House Style yeast rolls- from Sister Schubert. Put the entire pan (thawed) in Air Fryer and cook on 300’ for 4 minutes. Then brush on salted butter and cook for 2 more minutes. You are welcome America!

At four months the silicone bumpers that protect the basket housing from being scratched by the air fryer tray are coming apart. I contacted the company. They have replacement bumpers but will only sell them to you, they will not honor the warranty and replace them at no charge. You have to call them and make payment over the phone. Terrible.

Stopped working within a month. Purchased product because it had great reviews. Used it a couple times and worked good, but then it suddenly stopped working and would not power on. Come to find out product has a defective power button that is very flimsy and can break easily. Luckily was able to return it and get a better air fryer.
