I'm stoked that I can finally get this from the drugstore without having to see a doctor, that makes my life easier. I had heard that one of the pros of taking pills like this is that you can use them to skip your period all together, but this isn't an option for this type of pill (stronger hormones are required for this). I still had my period each month and it took a few weeks to get my cycle back into a normal rhythm (experienced breakthrough bleeding for awhile) but it has lessened the worst symptoms (I'm not cramping as much as usual, I don't seem to bleed as much either). Overall, using the O-Pill has been a positive experience. It's really important to take this at the same time of day each day, don't forget!

Although mine usually last 3-4 days, it was still annoying. Doesn't have any specific taste but I don't like how i felt while taking it. Maybe it's because of weight.

The directions are clear and the same as other forms of oral birth control. You do have to take it consistently but that's pretty normal. Great option for sure!

If you have had breast cancer this contraceptive is NOT for you. There are some notable possible side effects like diarrhea and vomiting. Definitely make sure you consult your doctor before deciding to start this contraceptive.

I think this is good for anyone that is starting a journey on birth control but not effective long term without following up with a doctor

I def noticed side effects and it may have very well been because it’s a new medication i introduced my system to. I’d def reccomend it because it work and it’s an easier more accessible option than prescription bc. Just be on the lookout for possible side effects as usual with any new birth control or medication in general.

I like that it’s estrogen free and also available over-the-counter avoiding prescription delays, scheduling doctor visits, and no worries about losing access to it. I really value how accessible it is and that it comes in three 28 day supplies which is even more convenient. I haven’t really noticed any side effects so far and it’s definitely effective and reliable.
