Convenient and easy to access without a prescription. I have blood pressure issues so non hormonal birth control is the only option for me and I was very happy to find that through opill and have it accessible to me without a prescription. I’ve been using for over a year and have had no problems!

This estrogen free stuff is the best. Keeps my acne undercontrol. No periods. No issues no getting fat or sideeffects. When i first switched to this there was a few days of breast tenderness. But that went away with consistent use in a week or 2. Great option for with or without insurance for people over 35 with higher risk of blood clot or stroke if taking estrogen mixed birth control which is what i was on before.

So far I'm have way through my first pack and I'm loving these pills!! I had absolutely NO SIDE EFFECTS..I feel the same before and after..Great choice

I've taken Opill for 4 months so far. When I started taking it, I had a period every two weeks. Basically double periods :( I had 4 periods like that. During my third pack of Opill, my periods started being a normal cycle length again. I've been PMSing a bit longer than normal, but not worse. My cramps and flow stayed the same as they were before I started birth control. Now my only symptom is some bumpy skin on my face that turns into acne on my period. It's the same kind of acne I had in high school (not very much acne tbh). I would say that it sucked to start, but it did even out once my body adjusted to it. My body is sensitive to hormonal birth control, so I will gladly have mild acne and take a pill at the same time every day if it means I don't get pregnant.

I’m not pregnant so it’s working fine. Also it starts to dissolve quickly so have water as soon as you put it in your mouth.

Honestly, a good bang for your buck. If you don't want kids and don't have a insurance or a doctor, highly recommend. Personally, pills with estrogen in them really mess me up, but these have been really mild for me.

I've been using this for about eight to nine months to control my frequent (I'm talking twice a month) periods. I have endometriosis and fibroids as well. I've never been sexually active, so (obviously) I can't say anything to vouch for the birth control part of it. This will NOT completely get rid of the pain, if you're in a similar place as me. I still KNOW when my period should have hit because my body still cramps up, but it has gotten rid of around 80 to 90% of the bleeding. I've had all of 3 very heavy, jellyfish-all-over periods while on Opill in these months I've used it, and I do have times where there's a little bit of blood leakage, but overall? It's very good at controlling the blood most of the time for a situation like mine, and I'm going to continue to take it for the foreseeable future. If I could rate it a 4.5/5, I would.

had a few hiccups in the beginning where I'd skip ovulation (having a period every 4-6 days) which was not fun, but after a few months I'm back on track with no issues. make sure you take them at the same time every day and there's way less problems! it doesn't affect my period otherwise, so same pains, cramps, flow, etc. but hey, at least I'm not pregnant 🤷‍♀️

Have taken combination pills my whole life and was relieved that I could change to something over the counter. I notice less water retention with Opill which is great too. The main drawback for me is the delicacy of this pill. Maybe my body chemistry is just too strong for it or something but I have been regularly bleeding every 3 weeks from the day that my period last stopped even taking it exactly at the right time. The combo pill was great at eliminating my period reliably. I know there’s an adjustment period with the changes in pills but it’s a struggle and I have a feeling my period will not cease as I want it to. Also, do not drink grapefruit AT ALL with this. I had a grapefruit Spindrift (grapefruit sparkling water) and BAM, spotting turned to full on bleeding in a matter of hours. This pill is not for the fickle. Taking it religiously at the same time of day is imperative, so anyone forgetful will soon become regretful if they’re late to take the pill and either start bleeding after a few hours or get pregnant. One must be diligent on this pill. I’ve taken 4 packets now and am sure if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
