The dosage is only 1 pill of 0.075mg a day. I don’t not like it doesn’t fully work if you forget to take it at the same time every single day. I am very forgetful with a busy llife style so for me that was a down fall. I do like was there was only mild side effects a little bit of acne break out and stomach issues but not too bad compared to other brands side effects. Overall I like Opill no doctor visit and very affordable and easy to go pickup.

Doesn’t cause any discomfort, acne or affect menstrual cycle. I try to take it at the same time every day but sometimes I forget, so I take it as soon as I remember either later in the day or the next day. It still works well and give me and my husband the contraceptive solution we need. It’s pretty impressive that we can now get this over the counter. No need to go back for PaP smear.

Well, let's talk about over the counter oral contraceptives that is affordable, effective and less hassle. That is my thought when using this Opill. I don't have to get a prescription, just go to the store and buy it. Simple as that! I still have to take it daily but it is same as other contraceptive pills that I used before. It is 98% effective and FDA approved. I am totally switching to this.

Small so it's not a problem getting them down. Once I got the end of the pack I did have some slight cramping which is why I remember the reason I don't take pills. All together they were just okay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I didn’t specifically need these for birth control, I was curious about an OTC’s ability to regulate hormones in perimenopause, where estrogen can get low and cause symptoms like hot flashes. In this respect, I did find that it offered some regulation in hormone balance, though not enough to replace more effective hormone therapies tailored by a doctor. Nonetheless, an accessible birth control pill is a huge boon with all the modern chaos of being a woman and this one might pair well for those with sensitivities to straight estrogen based ones as well (I had a coworker who developed bad side effects from estrogen based BC so I know it’s a thing). It’s approved both for effectiveness in BC and OTC use so it seems like a great way to avoid pregnancy when the partner also uses protection, as with other BC. I didn’t have any negative side effects at least but we’re all unique in terms of that. I found this to be a gentle option though not something that serves me personally at this stage in life enough to continue use. Best of luck to all who need effective control and I do say to give this one a try if other methods are less accessible too!

The thing that has me worried is if this product is not safe for those who have had breast cancer is it actually safe to take longterm or short term. That really bothered me about the product. I do not know if I could recommend this product as I feel more testing needs to be done and wonder if it causes any issues with those who are planning on having children later on and would be hesitant to have my teenage daughters try it if there are any negative effects for certain age groups.
