[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying I'm a huge proponent of accessible birth control and I'm THRILLED that there is finally an OTC pill option. Having been on a (much larger) pill previously, I was pleasantly surprised to see how teeny the Opill is, making it much easier to dry-swallow if you're on the go. The downside to that, of course, is that they're much easier to lose once you pop them out of the packaging. The side effects are where I knocked off a couple of stars. Unfortunately for me, these caused uncomfortable bloating and caused my period to continue non-stop, which is the opposite of what you want in a birth control pill. I'm grateful for these little pills, but sadly they just did not work for my body.

The trade-off is that you need to be really consistent with timing and accept that your cycle might be a bit unpredictable at first. If you’re good with alarms and want something you can control yourself without a prescription, it’s a solid option – but I’d still ask a doctor or pharmacist any questions before starting, just to be safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t mind this product. I don’t like taking pills however toe pill is so tiny as you can see. Easy to swallow. You need to take this consistently at the same time for it to be effective and that’s the hardest part. Even with a timer some days were hard to remember. My cycle felt the same in terms of symptoms.

But, truthfully I wouldn’t use this product, it messes with your hormones and 3 months is not enough of a supply for your body to get used to it/ get used to you even getting off of the pills. Maybe for some people these would work, they are small enough to swallow them easily. But for me, and younger women, I wouldn’t recommend anything that will affect your body so much! I gave these to someone who may use them if she needs to!
