It was different than I was expecting but overall a good product and I’d definitely buy more to keep using.

Tried this birth control for 4 months and everything was fine at first but I noticed my periods were coming later and lasting much longer than normal, and then I got a second period in a month, along with a severe headache that would not let up, leading me to stop taking it. Hey but not all bad things, I’m not pregnant lol

So I started taking this as recommended at the same time every day. I did that, but I started getting acne really bad and had some cramping. I thought okay maybe this is normal. But it's been a few months and still hasn't gotten better and my bleeding has worsened. I've been on 3 other birth control in the past and reacted to all of them. Of course, every woman's cycle is different, but progestin-only pills are often effective for many people looking to alleviate irregular cycles and even heavy bleeding... without the negative and unwanted hormonal effects of estrogen. It's an absolutely excellent option for those who don't want to go through the hassle of seeing a gynecologist or any doctor to get a prescription contraceptive! Also, just one tip: there's generally a 3- to 4-hour window for taking Opill orally, so keep in mind that it's essential to take Opill at approximately the same time every day! Consistency is key. For those without health insurance, this is also an excellent option. Contraceptives, like any medication, can be expensive without insurance. However, not everyone has access to health insurance, so this is an incredibly affordable option. Overall, this is a great product, and I will definitely continue using Opill!

It is easy to take and I personally did not have any side effects or problems. The only issue I came across was making sure to take it at the same time every day but the packs are slim and easy to keep in your bag for on the go so once I started setting an alarm, it became much easier for me to take around the same time every day, no matter where I was or what I was doing.
