I originally went on birth control to control my acne and alleviate severe cramping that I would get during my period. This pill formula doesn’t have the same chemical properties that other birth control pills do that takes those two reasons into consideration when identifying why women might take an oral contraceptive. For that reason alone, I don’t feel comfortable trusting Opill as a primary method of oral birth control, and have returned to the old chemical compound I was originally prescribed by my doctor.

It does have hormones to help regulate your period and that can get a little tricky bc it can also cause you to have out of whack periods, etc. overall, not bad but think it may be best to consult with a Dr first

I’ve been taking it for almost three months, and overall it has worked well for me as birth control. However, while I’ve heard pills can help with cramps, mine have actually gotten worse, and my period is still irregular.
