This was my first time actually trying birth control, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, I expected a lot of harsh side effects due to what I’d heard about birth control in general, but I was pleasantly surprised that the side effects really weren’t all too bad. I did feel overly hormonal and emotional around week 3 of being on them, but as I continued with it, it quickly went away and I was back to normal. I didn’t experience any late or weird periods either, physically there were pretty much no side effects, no bloating, weird periods, etc. Any side effects were really just the weird hormones for around a week that very quickly went back to normal. I really like the little bag it came with to put the pills in, it comfortably fits all 3 packages of pills and it’s honestly pretty cute!

During the trial, I experienced acne, headaches, bloating, changes in appetite, more intense cramps, and backache. Also my last few periods have been irregular.

The little carrying pouch you receive with these is super cute and convenient to carry your medicine around in. I love that this has none of those extra added hormones. Therefore, there weren't a bunch of side effects to have to deal with. This worked extremely well for me, and I plan to continue using Opill! I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good oral contraceptive.

For years I was stuck trying to get a doctor’s appointment in time just so I could get a simple prescription. The Opill is seriously a game changer! I love the fact that it’s sold regularly in stores, making it easy for those in need to access birth control without all the nonsense. These work AMAZING! I have not experienced any bad side effects since I have started taking these which is great since I’ve always gotten all of the bad side effects with the ones I’ve tried in the past. Due to other health concerns I have she stated it wasn’t the best form of birth control for me. I didn’t notice any side effects while taking and I didn’t mind taking this pill. I just wasn’t able to complete the 3 months due to dr recommendations.
