[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try out the Opill Birth Control for a few weeks before reviewing it. The Opill birth control pill is similar to the prescription mini pill. As the 1st ever progestin-only over the counter birth control pill I have extremely high hopes for it! So far after taking this birth control over the last two weeks I have not had any problems or bad side effects, it’s easy to take and the tips helped me remember to take it on time daily, it only takes two days to start working as well! Packaging is easy to read and use! Opill is around 98% effective, in 8 US clinical trials 98 out of 100 women who used Opill for a year did not become pregnant. Opill is also safe for women who are breastfeeding and I thought that was great!

I was so excited to get this OTC. I bought the 3 month pack. The first 2 months were fine, minimal side effects, mostly just breast tenderness/pain, and my period may have been a day or 2 longer. However, I recently started month 3. I got my period 3 weeks ago and it hasn’t stopped. I don’t mean spotting either, like full heavy period for 3 weeks straight now. I went to my OBGYN today because I was worried something was wrong and she said it was due to this pill and she said she isn’t a fan of these progesterone only pills for many reasons. She started me on another combo birth control pill.

I didn’t notice an uptick of my migraines during this time. My period was super regular and my periods were light and not as painful as usual. I’d definitely recommend!

This is your standard run of the mill birth control. Packaging simple, usage easy. All good things. PLUUUUSSSSS U DONT NEED A PRESCRIPTION

Do not use this pill!!!! I lost health insurance and had to get this to just use until I got it again. I'm on month 4 or 5 and I've only had now 2 periods. One lasted a entire month and the other just now in the middle of the pack. It's a waste of money! Forget about having your period start on the same day it's not planned anymore. I wish I could get a refund for all the money wasted.

I use it for three months and nothing no only side effect was like maybe like dizziness but other than that it was fine better than anything else I’ve tried. And the price is not too expensive. packaging was so cute.

This birth control pill can currently be bought over counter which I think is great. However I had some major extreme nausea from the side effects and a headache for the 3 months that I took this it did control obviously getting not pregnant but it did give me some reasonably bad side effects it's easy because it's one pill a day at the same time every day I don't know if I can recommend this product but I do think that it's great that they made something over the counter and easy access.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love that we now have a birth control option that is available over the counter as opposed to by prescription only. What a huge step for women all over the world! I took this medication for 3 months and never had a pregnancy scare. I did however notice the thickening of mucus (which is the point) but I was not a big fan of that. That being said, overall I was happy with the product because it did it's job and my con was tiny compared to the pros of this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually very sensitive to BC. I’ve tried the Depo, IUD and pills and so far these have been the best. I didn’t notice any side effects, didn’t gain weight or miss any periods. Overall I’d say they were the best thus far. It’s a pain in the butt to make sure you take them every day but I’d say it’s worth it, especially for being OTC. Great in my book!

I tried this for a month and all I can say is WOW! I’ve had bad experiences with other birth control pills. Opill has been great for me and I’ve had no issues nor side effects with it. My period came on time after the month, no cramps, and my acne has actually cleared up. I just purchased the 3 month supply because I was so pleased with how it works for me. This has definitely been a game changer for me! I started researching birth controls that didn’t have hormones in them and I’m so happy I came across this. No weight gain BUT I do workout along with eating a balanced diet.
