I haven’t had any side effects except for nausea the first few days after starting. I usually get nauseous with any hormonal changes in general. Overall I’ve had a great experience.

It's a huge step towards accessibility for women to easily obtain birth control and not have to go through their doctor. This product worked for me; however, I have PCOS and noticed that this significantly affected my period and made it so much heavier than it normally is (and it's usually quite heavy). That alone is an issue for me, but I would still very much recommend this to all women. I didn't experience any headaches or other side effects other than my period being extra heavy. When I'm not on my period, though, this product works very well and I had no other issues.

As someone who was told they could never take birth control ( estrogen or mixed progesterone and Estrogen birth control) Due to being diagnosed with blood clots. the opill has been a game changer. I am so excited to be taking this. I have yet to see any side effects.

But then, around a month in, I started feeling HORRIBLY bloated and gassy and burping like never before. My pants felt horribly uncomfortably tight. I definitely gained weight on these as well. I know the brand will say otherwise, but I could even tell in my face. I had to stop taking them after day 30. I couldn’t go on feeling like I was gonna pop. Now I am back to my normal self, and my face in skinnier, and pants are loose. I wouldn’t recommend these.

However, I found that this particular pill wouldn’t allow me to have a regular cycle and I like to have my regular monthly period and this also didn’t help with my migraines. I know that this does say that it is good for women with migraines because I read the fact sheet before I tried this pill but it wasn’t good for me. I will say that I love that this is an easily accessible option for all women because you can purchase this over the counter and I truly believe this will be a blessing for other women.
