SO wanted to love this but the side effects are horrible and by far the worst bc pill I have tried. The worst side effect is continuous bleeding. Background - my normal periods on low dose combo pills is about 5 days and off pills it’s about 6 days but slightly heavier. I wanted to try Opill because I suspected, over time, the estrogen and/or inactive ingredients was causing my mental health to decline. My first period after starting Opill was on time and lasted 11 days of which half was mostly light spotting so that was manageable. Second period was also on time, only 5 days long that incl 2 days of heavy bleeding. Around this time I also started to lose massive amt of hair, developed a ravenous appetite and gained 4 lbs. But the final straw is my current/3rd period that has lasted 20 days (so far!) with a 2 day break in between so 18 days of active bleeding! It’s not super heavy but warrants a normal size pad, not spotting. I have heard other users who are anemic and experienced similar continuous bleeding to have fainting spells and required medical attention or iron treatment. This constant bleeding is a common side effect amongst a number of users sharing their experiences online and should be addressed by Opill. Btw, I never missed a pill and always too them on time. I have no bleeding disorders, healthy weight and lifestyle.

First time ever taking them just started on saturday 11,2025 @ 7:11pm Pills ares small and easy manage symptoms:when I first start 3 hours latter headache ,vomiting, light headed very little put me into deep sleep that what need to relax does make me feel better

I do like this is available over the counter and the price seems fair. Might be a very good option for some people but you cannot forget to take this every single day. It did completely take away my period as long as I was taking the pill daily.

I have taken other birth controls in the past but I love how convenient this product is especially for those who cannot or do not want to go to a doctor. It is very easy, I just set a reminder every day to take it. I can’t really speak on the effectiveness but it has been working for me so far. I did notice myself more moody and have experienced slight spotting but overall I will probably continue to use this product.

After taking opill daily for a few weeks , I noticed my period was lighter then normal . An I didn't have horrible cramps . The only side effect that I got was headaches for a week then they went away . Having to take the pill the same time everyday was a bit hard , but I just set a alarm . I should have done it around lunch time instead of 7am . I will purchase these from now on because these work for me better then some of the other birth control medications.
