[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I did receive Opill Birth Control as a complimentary product, my opinions are honest and my own! Did you EVER think we’d see the day when birth control was available OVER THE COUNTER!!! As someone who has had to use birth control since a teen due to HORRIBLE periods that would often leave me laid up and miserable. I thankfully had access to yearly doctor visits to make sure I was able to be supplied with care and medication but let’s face it, that’s not the picture for MANY and also if you’re like me and (thankfully) have not had abnormal results from these visits, often all you want and need is birth control! For transparency I did start Opill going from a prescribed birth control to starting Opill. I found the change to Opill simple and had excellent resources and information available at the Opill website (that I cannot post here) It helped address common questions with information on their story. It helps give peace of mind as well on effectiveness to that of prescription strength. I was able to test and use the product several months to get a full picture of starting and consistently using it. I had VERY minor side effects but these were similar to that when I’ve changed from one prescription to another prescription, just extremely minor mood changes. I did not experience any break out periods during the testing, which I normally do when switching a birth control. I took the pill as directed everyday at the same time. For my periods I saw no changes (no change in flow, cramps, etc). Perhaps it varies person to person but I do track my periods and while I didn’t have spotting/break through days, I didn’t find consistent periods, but that feels a normal side effect from other birth controls I’ve used as well. Overall I was very happy and satisfied with my use of Opill and I’m beyond excited that it’s available over the counter!!

Unfortunately, I did not see a difference yet since using them and getting my period, however I haven’t had any side effects so far. I will continue to use them to see if anything changes.

It is FDA approved so safety for user. Opill is an oral contraceptive that contains only one hormone: norgestrel. This makes Opill suitable for most individuals who can become pregnant, including people who have high blood pressure; who are breastfeeding, perimenopausal or smokers; or who experience migraines .This is a really great product for women who may not be able to get prescriptions for whatever reason. Having easy access to contraceptives is a game changer. You should still consult with a qualified health provider, but it is great to see things like this being made available for greater ease of access.

Before taking it i did a lot of research just so I'm aware of all the pissible side effects etc. Although some ppl mentioned having different side effects I personally didn't experience any sideffects whatsoever, my mood & weight stayed the same.

From mood swings to excessive acne problems and so on. The app I’ll however I did not have adverse reactions that made me feel uncomfortable to keep taking. Good product over all. Regulates my period and kept me feeling somewhat normal.

In all honesty, I found Opill Birth Control which is the first ever Over The Counter Birth Control to be Great!! Once daily pill was easy to remembe,r came with a really cool refrigerator cup that I was in love with, and worked great!! No hormonal headaches or any other unwanted side effects!! And no pregnancies!! And I promised I tried!! Lol Highly Recommended!!

These pills didn't give me any nausea, which is a huge plus because most do. My period was right on time all three months with no uh oh either. I might switch to this brand. I recommend.

I always do research on medicine before I take it there were more con side effects in my opinion than pros so I did not take this. I understand all side effects can effect people differently but it was a risk I didn't want to take
