I started taking Opill last month, and after waiting for this to release, I was able to finally have sex for the first time and did not get pregnant 🥳 it is so incredible finally having the freedom to choose this option, and it’s been easy taking it on time. My periods have also gotten a lot more manageable afterwards. I hope I can continue using this!! 10 out of 10

i’ve been using opill for about 6 months and i have no complaints. yes i’ve been using it as a contraceptive, but it’s vastly changed the way i feel about my period. whereas before i was using the shot, which caused my period to be not only impossible to track but could be up to three weeks of bleeding and pain, opill has regulated my period and shortened it from a week and a half (before i started any form of birth control) to two to three days. so if you’re looking for a birth control just for period regulation, i’d highly recommend opill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one thing I didn’t enjoy while taking this is that I didn’t experience any hormonal acne and I didn’t get pregnant so it’s safe to say that it works as it says. They should have an app that reminds you to take the pill and other information available for your body changes during these times.

Honestly, I gave these a good trial took them every day even while I gained weight. I gained 15 pounds in 3 months, I need to get my hormones tested because that’s a lot of weight to gain. I’m not blaming the pills, it probably helped me realize I have an underlying issue I need to deal with. Could be pre-menopausal. Anyways, otherwise these are a great contraceptive pill that are more readily accessible and available which is awesome! Thank you for letting me try these!

There are still so many places where women have restrictions on healthcare access to do what’s best for them, so Opill releasing the first of its kind over-the-counter contraceptive is huge. This is an estrogen, free birth control pill that can be purchased at most drug stores. It actually runs cheaper than many birth control options do if you were to have a prescription. This is a huge win and I hope it only begins our journey to equal healthcare access.

When I was taking estrogen pills I suffered from migraines, terrible cramps and mood swings. With the progesterone only pill I do not have any of those. I do have the occasional migraine after my period. The only thing I had to get used to doing was taking the pill at the same time but that’s fine. I have set an alarm to remind me. I like that it is available over the counter in case I forget it while on a trip I can easily get my hands on it. Overall I have had a great experience with the Opill Birth control.
