I purchased this mattress just over a year ago. I was searching for a mattress that I could sleep all night and wake up with no pain. This is it. I have waited a year to post a review to be certain of how this mattress sleeps. 10 out 0f 10 recommend this mattress. I tell my friends that my bed hugs me every night. Not waking up stiff and sore anymore.

We purchased this mattress during Sam's Club's Labor Day sale, thinking we were getting a great deal. My husband and I have always slept on medium mattresses, so we felt confident in our choice. We recently unboxed it, allowed several days for it to fully expand, and slept on it for the first time last night. What an absolutely miserable experience. I genuinely cannot understand how this mattress is classified as MEDIUM. There is virtually ZERO give. It feels like someone threw a thin, plush blanket over hardwood flooring and called it a mattress. I woke up feeling like I'd aged 30 years overnight. My back hurts so badly I can barely move comfortably. We have a 5-year-old and a 6-month-old, and my back didn't even hurt this badly during pregnancy. My husband hates it just as much. For something marketed as “Hotel Premier,” I expected actual comfort and support. Instead, I'd genuinely rather sleep on the floor or in my car than spend another night on it. We thought we were saving $150. Instead, we spent $549 on a mattress neither of us wants to sleep on again. If you're looking for a true medium mattress, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We genuinely love Sam's Club and have always had great experiences with Member's Mark products, which makes this even more disappointing. We've come to associate the brand with quality, value, and products that exceed expectations. Unfortunately, this mattress falls so far short of that standard that it's hard to believe it carries the Member's Mark name. This is absolutely not the quality or comfort we've come to expect from a brand we otherwise trust.

I have had this mattress for about a year now, I turn it every 6 months, I love it! I sleep so soundly on this mattress and never wake up stiff or sore. I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend turning your mattress every 6 months, it really helps keep it in good shape.

I really wanted to love this mattress and I still am trying to. Unfortunately, I am with all the other negative reviews. The original mattress they sent me did not expand properly. It's supposed to be 80 inches and it is only 72 on the one side and 74 on the other. Because of this, there is a large gap between the headboard and footboard my pillows. Keep falling back over the top of the bed or my feet hang over the bottom if I stretch out. It also means my sheets don't fit properly. Most mornings, I wake up and a corner of the sheets has slipped off somewhere. Unfortunately, that isn't even the worst part trying to return. This has been a big inconvenience. I used their AI response for the return and I thought it worked out great until I got the email later saying I needed to place everything back in the original packaging and box and place it outside for FedEx to pick up. Clearly not possible. After waiting over half an hour on the phone, the agent I got was having phone problems and we got disconnected. Never got a call back. I tried their chat option and after going through the entire explanation process and providing lots of information we were near the end of the chat and somehow I got disconnected. I know, for a fact, these issues are not on my end. I finally got through to another agent after another 10 minutes of waiting. She was nice enough to change the carrier to someone who would not need the mattress in a box to pick it up. Unfortunately, I have no confirmation of this, I was told someone would call me in a couple days to schedule pick up. Hopefully that happens! I think my next challenge will be making sure they don't pick up this mattress until the new one has been delivered or I will have nowhere to sleep. I really hope this new one is not defective, I bought it over some other ones I was looking at on Labor Day, which means if I don't get lucky with it, I lost out on other sales. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I do feel like it would be a good mattress if they didn't have so many issues with it expanding. I had a regular memory foam for the past 12 years that was definitely needing a replacement so I'm sure part of thinking it's comfortable is due to going from such an old mattress to something new. The only complaint that I have with the design of the mattress itself is the removable cover. I'm hoping that it's the way it is because of the mattress being too small. But it moves around a lot under the sheets so when I toss and turn at night, I can feel the sheets and the mattress cover moving around, and I don't like that. Again if the mattress was fully expanded, maybe that wouldn't be an issue.

We purchased instore, the "medium" version of this mattress. After opening the box and letting the mattress "inflate", we found that the layer of gel pad that sits on top of the springs was shifted off the side of the mattress about 3 inches. We tried but there is no budging it back into place because it is glued together. Also the layer of springs bulged out of the other side of the mattress. As other people stated, the mattress is shorter than what it states for the measurements on the website. There was definitely an oder when opening but it did disappear after a couple of days. Beware that if you do buy it at local Sam's, as opposed to ordering it, there is no pick up return service, and it is a heavy bed if you have to return it. On a good note, it was a pretty comfortable bed.

The TWIN XL is NOT XL. I ordered 2 of these twin xl mattresses and 2 adjustable bed frames to make a king size bed. The twin XL's are advertised to be 80" long. One of the mattresses measures 74" and the other measures 75". I had to purchases mattress extenders ($95) to place at the end of the bed so they would not leave a 5-6 inch space at the head of the adjustable bed frame. This solution was easier than getting a truck and loading all of these things up to return to the store. Super disappointed.

I read the product details closely, reviews as well, though because of the many more positive reviews I'd try it. It was the WORST! For the price… that's crazy, it's so expensive and feels like an average mattress…. I was expecting that comfy hotel, luxurious experience and I got flea market mattress experience at 400$ heck no! Also the mattress smells so bad and I let it breath, expand as the directions say for 3 days. It smells like cancer, like you'll get cancer. I'm a side sleeper so I need hip support but also needs to be soft and I occasionally sleep on my back but I felt the springs…. I'm also over 200 but the mattress says my weight is not an issue for the durability of the mattress. It feels soft at first, but after hours in it, one night is all it took for me to regret it. Buy this mattress if you are like 120-150 lbs and you like soft/med… or buy this mattress if you have an air b%26b rental for guest but I don't recommend it. Hope this helps. The smell is like when you walk into a tire shop and that strong tire odor is punching your brain and lungs.

so disappointed in the king mattress we bought. the right side is 83 inches the left is 72. unreal lopsided!! like the bottom is lined up but the top is almost 12 inches different?! the lopsides gap is larger than a muscle milk protein drink bottle!! im so disappointed. we are returning tomorrow. i hope we have no issues for a refund we have bought many bed in a boxes. from menards, walmart and never ever had this issue!! im super irritated we now have to load this up and drive it a half hour back to the store. never again!!

Mattress is comfortable but the issue is the factory cover. It's so slippery. I have tried multiple mattress covers and it's like you are trying to put a sheet on a water slide. It's uncomfortable and makes sleeping at night difficult. I'd return it in a heartbeat if it wasn't a mattress.
