Like others have complained, there must be a faulty batch of batteries with this model. It is beeping randomly with the battery error it goes away when you hit the test button, but not until you wake the entire house in the middle of the night.

I put in 8 smoke units and 3 combo smoke and CO. Two of them failed in three months. I am worried about the others now. They always fail after 12:00 PM. Must be built into the program.

bought about 2 months ago....Could not get alarm to stop...had to disconnect battery to get it stopped...thus any warranty is not honored. WOULD NOT recommend this product. Wasted money.

It's only been 8 months and we have had 2 units fail. They just go off indefinitely even though there is no fire or CO. TWO of them failed, not even 10% of the claimed amount of use time. Really feels like a scam.
