The Best Blender

My Ninja Blender System was %26 is the best purchase I have ever made. It not only saves me time, it's also an energy saver, it's a pain reliever since I don't have to try to stir and stir in everything when it gets so thick, the blender does it all for me which means no more suffering because it actually mixes the cookie dough right in for me — it truly does!! I actually didn't believe it, until I personally tried it, and I'm talking chocolate chip cookie dough, with the chocolate chips %26/or nuts, whichever %26 whatever you want to add! It's amazing, I absolutely love my Ninja! Thank you Ninja for making the best blender system anyone could ever dream of having!!

Super powerful!

Don't Buy

The lid/blade for the single serve smoothie gets stuck on 90% of the time. The blades also dull pretty quickly. Have to push the smoothie cycle multiple times before it's fully blended.

Plastic Pitcher eventually cracks and leaks

After 2 years, the plastic pitcher finally cracked all over at once, leaking everywhere. Prior to that, the pitcher had some minor cracking, but no leaks. For the price, I expected this to last much longer. I've had family with glass blenders that last years and years... and they were much cheaper and even modern versions are still cheaper than the Ninja. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON PROTECTION PLAN FOR SAM'S. I purchased the 3-yr Allstate protection plan from Sam's, but Allstate denied the claim for the Ninja because they say it is just "normal wear and tear" or "manufacturing defects". It has only been about 26 months. They will cover a device that is working properly but then fails for some vague reason, but because I described cracks forming early on they concluded it was a defective product!! They judge that something is a "manufacturing defect" just so they can deny the claim!! Rant about ratings: Vendors and manufacturers ask for rating too soon. It is deceiving when all the 5-star ratings are probably done in the first month, never reflecting the long-term quality of the product.

We used to like it...

We purchased 2 of these food processors from Ninja now. They work great until they break, which has now happened to each of them less than 6 months after purchase. The bottom literally separates, and it's obvious the plastic simply sheared off from torque pressure. We thought the first time was a fluke, so we got another. Sad to say, no fluke.

3 strikes and I'm out

I've owned 3 of these. I should have stopped buying them after the first one. I had to replace each one after 1 to 2 years. There are several reasons that I would not recommend these. The first is that the cups warp too easily. We wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher & invariably, it's only a matter of time before they warp anyway. The 2nd reason is that the black cutting/blending bottom piece eventually starts to make a horrible noise that sounds like the bearings are gone (if it even has bearings). After that starts, the unit is no longer usable. The 3rd reason is that Ninja keeps changing the design every time. We have to throw everything away from the previous machine since nothing is compatible with the new machine. That has been true for all 3 machines that we've owned. We bought a cheap Hamilton Beach blender for smoothies to replace the last Ninja. HB has a glass jar, so there's less plastic getting chopped up in the process, unlike the Ninja, which is entirely plastic other than the blade.

Working Through the Disappointment

It seems to be hit or miss with the quality of this product. I've had the product for 7 months. The main container had a crack and began to leak. Ninja product support replaced it after I complained but they originally wanted to charge me for a replacement container. Next, the cup top (with the blade) connected to the motor base but wouldn't work (no options to blend lit up). They want to charge me for a replacement. I asked to speak with a manager and explained what I thought was a quality issue. He's now working with me and is making an exception to replace the defective part. Because of the unreliable quality of products, purchasing an extended warranty is necessary as a back-up.

Poor Quality Material

I've had to replace the lid to the processor bowl twice. The quality of material used in this product is poor at best. The piece that secures the lid to the bowl is plastic and has snapped off three times now. I will not replace the part for the third time, I am looking for another brand.
