After 2 years, the plastic pitcher finally cracked all over at once, leaking everywhere. Prior to that, the pitcher had some minor cracking, but no leaks. For the price, I expected this to last much longer. I've had family with glass blenders that last years and years... and they were much cheaper and even modern versions are still cheaper than the Ninja. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON PROTECTION PLAN FOR SAM'S. I purchased the 3-yr Allstate protection plan from Sam's, but Allstate denied the claim for the Ninja because they say it is just "normal wear and tear" or "manufacturing defects". It has only been about 26 months. They will cover a device that is working properly but then fails for some vague reason, but because I described cracks forming early on they concluded it was a defective product!! They judge that something is a "manufacturing defect" just so they can deny the claim!! Rant about ratings: Vendors and manufacturers ask for rating too soon. It is deceiving when all the 5-star ratings are probably done in the first month, never reflecting the long-term quality of the product.

We purchased 2 of these food processors from Ninja now. They work great until they break, which has now happened to each of them less than 6 months after purchase. The bottom literally separates, and it's obvious the plastic simply sheared off from torque pressure. We thought the first time was a fluke, so we got another. Sad to say, no fluke.

I've had to replace the lid to the processor bowl twice. The quality of material used in this product is poor at best. The piece that secures the lid to the bowl is plastic and has snapped off three times now. I will not replace the part for the third time, I am looking for another brand.

My Ninja Blender System was %26 is the best purchase I have ever made. It not only saves me time, it's also an energy saver, it's a pain reliever since I don't have to try to stir and stir in everything when it gets so thick, the blender does it all for me which means no more suffering because it actually mixes the cookie dough right in for me — it truly does!! I actually didn't believe it, until I personally tried it, and I'm talking chocolate chip cookie dough, with the chocolate chips %26/or nuts, whichever %26 whatever you want to add! It's amazing, I absolutely love my Ninja! Thank you Ninja for making the best blender system anyone could ever dream of having!!

Honestly, after using this 1 time to chop vegetables, I don't know how I've lived without one of these! That alone, to me, was worth the price of purchase! The only problem I have, is deciding which of the million and one things I want to do with this little beauty. Very reasonably priced, and came with 2 32 ounce blending cups, which I have not seen ANYWHERE else. Clean up is a snap, and I've read you can put together pasta dough with this! My life was made much easier by my sweet husband, who bought it for me!

It seems to be hit or miss with the quality of this product. I've had the product for 7 months. The main container had a crack and began to leak. Ninja product support replaced it after I complained but they originally wanted to charge me for a replacement container. Next, the cup top (with the blade) connected to the motor base but wouldn't work (no options to blend lit up). They want to charge me for a replacement. I asked to speak with a manager and explained what I thought was a quality issue. He's now working with me and is making an exception to replace the defective part. Because of the unreliable quality of products, purchasing an extended warranty is necessary as a back-up.

Worked great, until it broke less than a year after purchase. The pro extractor blade assembly (for the single serve cup) seized up and started burning when I was using it. I am extremely careful to clean and dry this well with every use. Unfortunately, the limited warranty does not cover this part and the part is out of stock. So $160 down the drain since this is what I use daily. I loved this blender, but their warranty and accessories replacement has me looking for a better company. No more Ninjas for us.

I’m really disappointed in this for a lot of different reasons that might not matter to anyone else, but for the price…I had to return it. I talked myself out of buying it for about a year before splurging. Brought it home, unboxed it and decided to make a smoothie with fresh cut watermelon, ice, and mint. I followed a recipe from (I believe) the ninja website. The machine is LOUD. That would be fine but…it didn’t even chop the watermelon up, let alone the ice. Chunks of both. The cup is giant, honestly I don’t think I’d ever be able to finish a drink that took up half that cup. I mainly got it to make a protein fluff for breakfast with yogurt and cottage cheese. It couldn’t mix it up. Still giant chunks of cottage cheese. Tried to use the dough hook to make naan from ninjas website…half the liquid was underneath the connector for the dough hook. It was a nightmare to clean. Again, let me say it is LOUD. I’d be fine with that….if it worked better. I was also terrified the plastic containers would break if a piece of ice hit the side of something the wrong way. I returned it and I don’t miss it at all. It took up a lot of room in my cupboard, and a cheaper blender would do a better job.

Owned for ~6 weeks - very disappointed. Construction is minimal [eg: compared to Vitamix]. Used it primarily to make smoothies. When container/jar is filled to 3/4+ capacity (pineapple, berries, etc.] plus liquid , fruit fibers accumulate on extractor tine/blade knife edges adding drag on the motor causing the whole assembly to vibrate/shake and burden. When cleaning w/ soap/water only, machine sometimes stops altogether and displays an error code. Power cycling clears the error code. It appears after 5+ weeks of daily usage weakened the motor and/or possibly dulled the tine/blade edges such that on one occasion the container/jar vibrated loose [unwound] on several occasions stopping the machine. So glad for Sams' return policy.

Blends any and everything. I'm able to make smoothies in this with all kinds of ingredients fruits greens ice and veggies. Its easy to use and just as easy to clean. Its very easy to maintain this as their isn't much to do. I even use this to help me prep certain things for dinners, especially if I need purees or smooth additives for my meals.
