Sound Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 Star review is because of the sound. It is a little more muffled than my Sony tv. It’s fairly slow to return after muting and sometimes have to turn the tv off and on again, to regain sound. The picture is great, the set is very easy to use and the price was much better than Sony. Keep making great products!!

Good but no cigar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our tv mostly for streaming apps. Sometimes it's the apps' fault sometimes the TV's fault. We have had to unplug the TV quite a bit to reset the parameters for TV use because it was not responding.

Samsung Sets the Standard for OLED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung OLED has been the tall of my household for the last 2 years now. From friends, to family and even my neighbors. You truly don't understand what you are missing with an OLED display. The biggest factor; your blacks are ACTUALLY black! Do you ever watch TV and have the black parts actually be lit up or "gray" and not TRUE black? Yea. An OLED completely changed that feeling. All the colors are astounding and the deep richness of dark screens and dark nights (im talking to you, Game of Thrones fans!) is breathtakingly beautiful. My father came over one day and I turned the TV on for him. He said "does it take long to boot up?" I said no dad, the screen is on. You just don't realize it because the OLED display with a black image seems like it's OFF but in actuality it's on and running. Then the colors hit and he was blown away. You're truly missing out not having an OLED. If you're a fan of watching shows, movies or even gaming on your TV, then a Samsung OLED is a MUST HAVE in your home! You will not regret it!

Great for gaming!

This tv was great for 6 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great tv until a few nights ago. The tv went black mid movie. Will not even turn on now. Not happy! Bought tv in February 2025. Too much money to spend for six months of usage. Currently waiting for someone to call me back to set up a service call.

Great tv, issue with volume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are extremely pleased with the quality of the picture, however we have an issue with the volume. The volume on the set increases then decreases on its own. I need to unplug it to reset it which seems to work for a few days.

If your volume is fluctuating, please try disabling some of the TV's intelligent functions, will automatically analyze and adjust your sound which may cause your volume to fluctuate. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings and disable all enabled Sound Settings. Please also make sure your TV’s firmware is updated. Stunning Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a 43-inch Samsung TV. I wanted to upgrade to a higher end bedroom TV and the 48-inch was perfect. For now it sits on top of a dresser but eventually will mounted on the wall. The overall footprint is thin and looks premium. Tizen Smart Platform has been solid so far.

Not happy with this TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love to give a glowing review for this television, but I cannot. This TV has a habit of jumping to varying apps at varying times for no reason. There’s no way to control how or when it happens. I’m hoping that the warranty will allow a fix. As of this moment, I cannot recommend this unit.

Software has been updated and messed up my tv!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It appears there is some new AI software loaded / included now in my Samsung 42" Class S90D series OLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2024). The TV viewing area is only a rectangular area about 20% to the right and left each no viewing area and about 30% up from bottom is also no viewing area...black only shows on about 1/2 of my viewing screen. Have been trying unsuccessfully to adjust the settings to fit the viewing area to my entire screen but no luck and am very frustrated. Noticed a new AI setting but do NOT understand how to apply this setting...This user needs more instruction how to reset tv viewing area with the updated AI software. HELP!!!

TOTAL Failed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 2 Samsung 77'' S90D, one in USA and one in Canada. We had problem with both. The first one in USA has been changed because it didn't work anymore before 90 days of purchase. The second one in Canada stopped working after 5 months, stop working. After 2 weeks of waiting, they changed power supply and two days after doesn't work anymore. I'm still waiting for repair.
