The S90d is the best tv we've had so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 65" Samsung S90D is one of the best tvs we've had so far coming from an 14 year old Samsung LED TV and since this is an oled, the infinite black levels give you a really good quality especially on HDR, and the 165hz is perfect for gaming.

Great tv great for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is a very awesome buy.. price is great within a budget. Picture quality is excellent. My kids enjoy the features of the screen and color. The features are vibrant. The color is definitely in high definition. The sound is great even without a sorround system or sound bar. Mine is on a surround sound but when I used it without it it would ad great. I would recommend this but or any of the Samsung prouducts to anyone .

Not my favorite Samsung TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my favorite Samsung TV. I do not like the startup screen view, to many remote inputs to get to your viewing app. It sometimes turns off when raising or lowering the volume, this just started happening It clicks about 5 to 10 seconds after turning off The loading of apps seems slower than other wifi enabled tv's we have at the same distance from our router Picture and sound are fine but nothing special for the price and category of this TV Do not like how busy the screen is upon turning on.

You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device. For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction, and the TV is safe to use. You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test Please also note you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option 1) Enabling Start with Smart Hub Home automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. The power supply issues are real...

I had read that some sets of this particular model and size can eventually suffer from a blown power supply unit after a number of months or even years. Given the quality of the display itself and the warranty, I figured it was worth the slim chance of an eventual issue. I probably should have gone with something else. It was borderline miraculous how quickly my power supply failed on this unit. After about 2 hours of initial setup one evening, I watched about 20 minutes of TV the following afternoon and "POP", TV is done for. Not even 3 hours of on-time before the faulty part decided that was the end. I'm already getting a runaround from Sam's Club on a replacement/exchange even though I'm within my window. I'll be stuck dealing with the Samsung repair process for better or worse. My suggestion, just save your time and avoid the 77" S90D.

Horribly disappointed!!!!!

Initial TV shipped was a refurbished set or returned from a previous buyer. TV initially would not power up. Had to contact Samsung Support. Samsung eventually had another TV shipped out to me, however, it was just left at the front door, blocking the storm door from opening! Driver did not even ring the doorbell. The FedEx driver that came to pickup the non- functioning TV was kind enough to be move the replacement TV inside the house! This was a horrible experience!
