Worst Navigation!! Remote control is awful!!

The control of this TV is the absolute worst. We had this TV for 3 weeks and are frustrated every time I use the remote. I would not recommend this Samsung OLED!! This "SMART REMOTE" solar cell remote has no numbers on it to direct tune to a station. You have to toggle up or down thru through many stations . Also it has buttons to ga directly to Netflix, Disney, Prime. If you accidently touch one of this, you struggle to get back to what you were watching.. I wonder if a different remote would work. Very frustrated. Navigation on this TV is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced.

Great picture. Not so great remote.

I’ve had the TV for approximately 2 weeks. The picture quality is wonderful. However, I do have an issue with the remote control for 2 reasons. 1) Voice control has to be set up through Alexa or Samsung’s version of Alexa. It is confusing and not straightforward. And, we have given up even using the voice function. 2) The remote doesn’t seem to hold a charge that long. And living in a cloudy climate, setting it on the windowsill to recharge via solar isn’t effective. So, like a cell phone, it needs to be regularly connected to yet another charger.

ENJOY watching tv again

I LOVE my new TV. I have eye issues and thought I'D get a better quality tv so I upgraded my old 3D tv to this one and I have no regrets'. I don't need my glass's to enjoy great picture quality. I'm enjoying watching a lot of old shows I've seen before and this tv makes them so much more enjoyable.

Love this Tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For gaming this TV is a game changer! The picture quality is amazing. It's easy to navigate all of the settings. There's also YouTube video tutorials on how to optimize it. I do recommend this. Now the bad. The functionality is a little wonky. It won't power on my Sony surround sound. Sometimes when powering it up it also turns on my PS5. I have to say though, overall the best tv I've ever owned.

Great Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the TV for about a month. So far it is performing better than expected. I read reviews about this TV and one of the other brands more than I can fathom. I chose this one just because the reviews were ever so slightly higher than the competitor. I made the right choice. Picture quality is awesome, it looks like the display in the store, which always seems to be better than when you get it home. The sound exceeds my expectations. The reviews mentioned we would want to get a sound bar, and we still might, but the sound has good bass and is very clear and a lot louder than I thought it would be. Over all I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great features- POOR PERFORMANCE, FAILED in 3 Week

This my second Samsung S90 77” in 3 months. Both died within 3 weeks. Would not turn on. Reboot failure requires new power supply and mother boards. I doubt that this is 3 times a charm as it takes 3 weeks between getting it uninstalled and service /replacement and re installed. I have had Samsung for 20 years… maybe it is time to go back to Sony.

Great TV when working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Professionally wall mounted the TV for home theater. Initially great, beautiful bright picture. TV completely died on day 105 from purchase could not return to retailer. Samsung tech came out and changed out the power board. TV remounted and working again for now.

Very Good TV set

I bought this Samsung S90D after my Sony 900F went out on me suddenly. This Oled has better color and a better picture because it should. Easy to operate. Remote is different but I had a Samsung KU-6300 so I know how the remote works. No Surprises there. This was a good buy. Happy I did.
