This smart TV is amazing.

Superb picture, color, and contrast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used for off air local TV, streaming video, movies, etc. Like the superb picture quality and great color and contrast, even in bright light. Dislike the response of the controls for mute, channels, etc. seems delayed.

This is the best TV I have ever had by far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to be an LG guy because I have always liked the oleds, but because everything I have my computer my tablet and phone are all Samsung, I pulled the plug to get the Samsung S90D TV 77". And this TV is gorgeous it is a lot brighter and better picture quality than the rival LG OLEDs, and gaming with my PlayStation 5 is the best experience I have ever had

Great TV when paired with Samsung Sound Systems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this TV along with the Samsung Q990D Sound System....HUGE capability - I am truly impressed with the range and quality of the sound. Q-Symphony is working great. The system is in a room with a large vaulted ceiling and it is performing incredibly well. And the TV it self brings great clarity and beautiful, crisp color from no matter where I am in the room. This is a great investment.

We have been very happy with our new Samsung TV.

We did not realize our TV was so thin when we bought it but have been very impressed with it and the picture is great! We get tons of compliments on the picture and are looking into a sound bar to go with it.

Disappointed with Samsung twice in three years.

I am pretty disappointed to say the least! Three months after I bought the TV I turned it off when I went to bed and when I tried to turn it on the next day it was dead! I read that it is fairly common with the Samsung oled TV’s so I am not happy. Before I bought the 77” unit, I had owned an 85” Samsung QLED tv it also had a problem only two years after purchasing it. The picture had started rolling or fluttering. Thought I’d buy another Samsung tv but that seems to have been a mistake!

Great Picture but they need to work on the sound

I love the picture quality. The sound system could be a little more advanced. I am an older person and with the way they encode the sound on many shows and movies the background music just overwhelms the conversations and characters talking. I have tried changing the sound settings and even bought a Samsung sound system and their algorithms don't help. I know that this can be done because I have a sound bar from another manufacturer that works great. These sound settings seems to be focused on younger people. I don't want my home to sound like a movie theater, I just want to be able to follow the conversations of the shows I watch.

Great picture, apps, and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality, responsive, and a modern remote. I mainly use the apps and have no issues with streaming any video. I'm connected via ethernet and switching channels with the Samsung tv app is almost instant. No complaints!

Vibrant lifelike colors.

I expected better for a “premium product”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that I had a dead pixel upon buying the TV. I contacted support and they said “the dead pixel appears to be small” - of course it is. They were unwilling to help in any way and said I could try to return it to the store. All the streaming apps appear to be very laggy when you first select them. I’ve got multiple other Samsung smart tvs that are older and running different software and they all run the apps much faster. Samsungs reign must be coming to an end. I’ll try a LG oled next time. I was loyal to Samsung but not anymore after this TV
