Great Picture but they need to work on the sound

I love the picture quality. The sound system could be a little more advanced. I am an older person and with the way they encode the sound on many shows and movies the background music just overwhelms the conversations and characters talking. I have tried changing the sound settings and even bought a Samsung sound system and their algorithms don't help. I know that this can be done because I have a sound bar from another manufacturer that works great. These sound settings seems to be focused on younger people. I don't want my home to sound like a movie theater, I just want to be able to follow the conversations of the shows I watch.

Good tv not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is not what I expected. When I saw it on displayed and I was looking for a 120hz oled tv, I thought this would be the best option. I’m not impressed as I use it day to day. Too expensive for the quality.

Timing is everything 😩

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually very poor timing on Samsung’s part. I’ve had the tv for less than 4 months and it decided to take a dump last night. No power up or any sign of power from the set. Tried all of my troubleshooting ideas before trying to get service. Finally got to Samsung service line but the service company is not Samsung and when searching for Samsung service facilities there aren’t any on the map. I spoke with a service company Samsung connected me to but they could give no clear answers regarding service, time frame and I have to unmount the unit from its wall mounting before their tech will come out to look at the unit. Very inconvenient considering the unit has not been in service for 4 months. This is my 4th Samsung unit personally owned and the 1st real problem in well over 20 years but most expensive. So sad quality has fallen on this manufacturer. Hope it can get resolved quickly but in my experience with second tier repairs speed nor convince are top priorities. In my previous profession I facilitated the specification, purchasing, installation and maintenance of over 1000 Samsung lcd projectors in a major school system. I let the success of those endeavors guide on this purchase. Thanks in advance for a prompt reply. Steve

Great color and resolution

The man of the house wanted a bigger TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We mostly stream -- watching movies and shows. Nature shows are really beautiful on the big TV. I admit I resisted for a long time as we've always hidden the TV in a cabinet. Now it is out for all to see. Hoping to add a frame at some point (great option if you care to provide.) Was easier to set up and start to use than I expected. I especially appreciate the rechargeable remote--no more searching for tiny batteries. We are also impressed with the sound quality. We also watch news but find I prefer chaos on smaller screens. Just me I bet.

Great Picture but Two Issues.

I bought this TV several weeks ago when our previous Samson TV died after 6 years. This one has a great picture and was easy to set up. However, two problems: 1) it does not accept my Bose soundbar. Although the soundbar HDMI cable fits two HDMI connections, I am still getting the notification on the TV that I need to connect it to the HDMI 3 ARC connection. The cable will not fit either of these other two HDMI connections, 2) we like to use the captions. Although the captions are turned on, they only show on the TV some of the time. Therefore a 3 star rating.

I love this product.

And movies look awesome i love action and susspence and the audio is clear and loud enought to hear across the room probably even farther . I would buy this TV again for sure..

HUGE upgrade from what I had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to the TV I had before this, I've upgraded quite a lot. The picture quality is so much better. I feel like watching movies has gotten much more entertaining because I notice things that weren't in focus at all before. I thought it was just because they weren't meant to be seen clearly but I'm realizing it was the quality of the TV I had now. I stick to everything Samsung as much as possible because I can say I've NEVER been disappointed by any of their products I've bought. Never. Whenever I'm in the market for another TV I'll definitely be sticking with another Samsung TV without a doubt.

We have been very happy with our new Samsung TV.

We did not realize our TV was so thin when we bought it but have been very impressed with it and the picture is great! We get tons of compliments on the picture and are looking into a sound bar to go with it.

Samsung TV’s Are the Best!

The clarity of this TV is absolutely amazing! 65” is the perfect size for my living room. I love the solar remote. It’s very small, but very powerful. I have a Samsung Soundbar (K550) connected to the TV. I feel that I have the perfect viewing experience with this TV.
