You take 1 up to 3 times a day before or during a meal, with a glass of water. I started taking this a week before my cycle. I normally get pretty constipated and bloated during that time. I noticed I was using the bathroom more. The stools were pretty soft I did start to have diarrhea after taking it for a week straight so I stopped taking it for a few days. The pills are an okay size to swallow with water but it does have a weird taste.
