My kids (3 and 2) kept saying, “thank you daddy for building my playhouse.” We try to keep out kids outside as much as possible away from screens, and in the Texas summer heat, this wood playground was our best option. My husband spent a few days putting it together mostly by himself. It was pretty labor intensive, but it was well worth it.

This play set arrived about 1 week ago. We had some e missing pieces which I called customer service about. They were very nice and we have all ready received the missing pieces. My husband is working on the set and his advise is to mark over the numbers on every piece. The numbers are very hard to read. The set is not completed yet but seems very sturdy.

Sort all pieces out ahead before buidling. Many Many pieces and parts. Make sure you have wood glue on hand. a few pieces did come damaged, but easy fix with wood glue. Would recommend: cordless drill, rubber mallet and circler saw. For pieces that did not fit correct. example: flooring. Give yourself plenty of time to assemble. Double and Triple check the instrucstion. Figuring out what pieces goes where is what took the most amount of time. Would recommend they take a note from the LEGO company. Make your instruction manual more like their step by step guide. Idiot proof!

My oldest son is 5 and it’s perfect for him. We hired a handyman in our neighborhood to put it together based on reading the reviews of the people that used the installation option, and I’m so glad we did. It was half the cost and it took about two full days for him to put together. It comes in a million pieces, so like others, I would plan a few hours to organize. There is no way my husband and I could have put it together ourselves. We love this set and definitely items recommend!

Great product and support. Coupla pieces were broken in transit and were replaced no problem. Directions and app make for an easy construction. My kids and the neighbor kids all love the play-set (ages 2-6). Tip: The rails all require spacing to be measured out, cut a template to the correct length using the packing cardboard to avoid measuring each rail individually.

Communication with BYD was excellent. The equipment is solid. The assembly took longer than expected & yet the technicians were diligent & exceptionally polite. Highly recommend the Woodridge Elite wooden swingset. Our 5 little gran children love it & so do we!

We are really enjoying this play set. My son loves it and is playing on it constantly. It took my husband and father in law several days to put together. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there. Make sure you check the weight limits before you play on it as well. The slide and swings are different from the structure. We have added some flower baskets and we are planing to put a drink shelf on it as well.

OMG! We bought a great swingset. Our kids love it and turned out to be a great product. We got a lot of bang for our buck and our kids are very happy it was put in the backyard. It seems a lot bigger then the pictures, but it fit perfectly in our backyard. There is some slight peeling on the wood though. The directions said it would take 1 person 12-14 hours to build, but when we hired goconfigure to build it, it took about 3 days. The guy that came and built it was great though. He wanted to be sure that it was done correctly and above all things, SAFE! without him, I think we would still be building it.

I put this together myself. The only part I needed help with was the tunnel because the plastic was rolled up tight. I have never put something like this together before, which vouches for the quality of the instructions. It turned out beautiful and looks just like the picture. I love the two-toned wood. Overall, very satisfied, and we will be sticking with the Backyard Discovery brand for future purchases of this kind.

If you are familiar with other reviews on BD playsets, then this one will be no different. The set arrived relatively quickly considering the size of the deliver (5 boxes weighing 150lbs each) and during the pandemic. One box did arrive damaged however and some pieces inside of it were damaged, but ultimately were still decent enough to assemble. Assembly took us probably a total of three days whole, but this is tyring to do it with kids around. Instructions were thorough all though some of the pictures make it hard to see where the fasteners are located. A BIG suggestion like others is to organize every board and screw beforehand. This is the only way to attempt the build without going insane. We even bought plastic bowls and organized all the screws by labeling the bowls for easy identification. Kids are super happy with it and have received a lot of compliments from our neighbors. Would definitely recommend. Just be prepared for a decent amount of time organizing all the components first.
