I have had back problems for years, and this year was no different. I'd been suffering with severe morning stiffness and pain for several months. As luck would have it, I came down with a nasty cold, and ended up sleeping in the guest room for a couple of weeks so my other half could rest. Lo and behold, after sleeping on a newer, firmer mattress, my morning back pain was nearly gone! I had always wanted to try a memory foam mattress, since they had been so highly recommended by many of my friends. I purchased this mattress after looking at similar ones at brick and mortar stores with price tags up to nearly $2000. At under $600, this one seemed like a bargain, especially after reading some of the reviews. It arrived relatively quickly. It was a bit bulky, rolled up as it was in a small-refrigerator-sized box, but easier to handle than if it had been flat. The reviews, and the included "unrolling" instructions indicated that there might be an odor once the mattress was unfurled. It was recommended that the mattress be allowed to "rise" for a certain period of time before use. That was a bit of a hassle, because who has a queen-sized area of open floor space just sitting around in their home?? Luckily, we had planned to disassemble the full-size bed in the guest room so we could clean the carpet. We used the floor space to open the memory foam mattress there. We could not detect any unpleasant odor. A couple of days later, we set the mattress up on the metal frame that we had also purchased. After using this mattress for about a month, I am VERY pleased to report that I have much less back pain. This mattress is not as firm as the coil spring set in our guest room, but it works very well. It was a good compromise, since my partner was concerned that he would not like a mattress that was too firm. If you are looking for a memory foam mattress, a tad firm, with a reasonable price tag, this may be it.

Ordered this for my guest room. Having previously slept on a true Temporpedic with only one complaint; traps too much body heat. Figured this gel top would help. It definitely does. Although it makes the bed way too soft for my liking, everyone else loves it. All in all a great value for the money!

Bought this mattress 2 months ago. Let it air out for 1 week. (Even 2 months later it has that "smell" but very faintly--not really complaining). Overall, quite pleased with it. Quite cool-for sure does not sleep hot but we have not yet experienced summer. My wife has bad sciatica and it seems to help her significantly (this is why we purchased it). You do not sink down so deep it is hard to roll. No problems with that. So far, so good. We are happy with purchase.

I was originally all over the place on this product trying to figure aout what would be the best purchase, either this "MyGel" product or a slightly cheaper version of a memory foam mattress Sam's also offers. Let me say that I am thrilled with my purchase of this product! It was a great choice and it is as comfortable as you can imagine. No back issues, no dead spots, just pure comfort. Friends who have slept on it always rave about the comfort. I put a very thin Waterproof mattress cover on it to avoid staining the cotton cover in case of spills or anything, and it has not affected the comfort at all. Not too hard or soft and one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. Would give it 5 stars but for unsure how long it will last. So far I have it 4 months and it remains great! I highly recommend this product for the quality vs. the money spent.

I did lots of search before finally I bought this one. In the mattress stores usually they will charge you double/triple the price for this type of bed. Some of my friends already had bought from Sam's club and based on the reviews I decided to try this one (specially if I don't like it I could return it, although its hassle carrying it back to store so i was buying this praying that I will like it and wont have to return it). First of all you have to think about the firmness of the bed, its memory foam mattress, so I was expecting a little softer (although I wanted the firm mattress for sure), this one is slightly firmer than I wanted. Sleep wise, its very comfortable. I definitely saw a difference in my sleeping pattern since i started sleeping on this one. Price wise can not complain, its definitely cheaper than anywhere you shop for the same type of mattress.

I bought the King in this mattress to replace a SleepNumber bed and I love it. I sleep all night and don't wake up with sore back or shoulders anymore. My daughter layed on my new Night Therapy mattress and loved it, so I bought her the Queen, The only problem I have found is I don't want to get up in the mornings. I so wish I had bought this mattress before money was wasted on a SleepNumber mattress.

I purchased this mattress hoping for an inexpensive alternative to the name brand foam mattresses. My opinion is that it is way too soft. You sink into it making it hard to change positions. If you sleep solely on your back, it may be ok, but as one that rolls around, not so much. I will be returning it to get something firmer. But, the Sam's experience was fine. I received it a day or too early and they were good about updating me so I could track the shipment.

My sister spent $3,700+ on a Queen Tempur-Cloud Luxe 13" Mattress by Tempur-Pedic and she LOVES it. I loved it too after spending 3 nights on it - - - PURE LUXURY but I cannot afford the price. I told her I decided to purchase a Tempur-Pedic 12" for my guest room when it really was Sam's Club Night Therapy Elite 12" MyGel® Ultimate Memory Foam Mattress. She came to my house for 4 days & loved my Foam Mattress too & could not really tell the difference between the 12" & the 13" mattress. When she was packing up to leave, I told her my total cost was $491 INCLUDING shipping to my home, that is NOT a Tempur-Pedic & it was a Sam's Club purchase. She was sick about all the money she wasted. She could have purchased 7 Sam’s Club queen size mattresses for what she paid for 1 Tempur-Pedic! I purchased the Sam’s Club mattress for my guestroom. I truly love it so I am buying another Sam's Club Night Therapy Elite 12" MyGel® Ultimate Memory Foam Mattress for MY bedroom. Two drawbacks – whether the mattress is from Sam’s Club or Tempur-Pedic both mattresses do have an “odor” that lasts a few days. I unrolled the mattress, opened the windows, turned the ceiling fan on and placed 6 Snuggle dryer sheets weighted down by various household items. Four days later there no longer is an odor, so I put a clean mattress pad & clean sheets on the bed. I’ve slept in my guestroom several nights and can’t wait to get my Master Bedroom Mattress from Sam’s Club. The second drawback is major. If you buy it for a guestroom, your guest may NEVER leave or if it is for your bedroom, it is tough getting out of bed because it is soooooooooo comfortable! PEACE from Michigan

This mattress was packaged wrong. I have bought two Mem Foam beds from "Bed in a Box" in Tennesse that are wonderful. They come vacuumed flat and rolled to fit in box. When un-packaged they regain the proper shape evenly. This one from Night Therapy was folded in two places and where the folds were, caused damage to the foam and has still not flattened out. There are two creases across the mattress about 18 inches from each end, giving it a slight wavy top surface. It has been sleeping OK, but I question how long that will last with the crushed foam at the shipping folds. I will buy my next one from Bedinabox.com, a little more money but a proven quality product made in the USA!

We tried a new Serta mattress for $1200 and a sleep number bed for $2000 before trying this mattress. This was by far the best & so much more affordable. Try this before you spend money trying other mattresses if you need a good night's sleep and are uncomfortable on your current mattress. I will buy another one for my kids.
