The remote wifi setup was difficult based on provided documentation in the box, but GE has a tutorial on a popular video website how to set it up, just search GE Remote Appliance control and pick the video that best meets your product. Now I know the trick, its easy. I can turn on the AC while driving home from work, so the room is nice and cold when I get home, or if you are out on the town and can turn it on while driving home. I love the fact there is a drain plug that can be removed to allow water to drain out instead of building up in unit. I use it in a bedroom, so the pinging of water keeps me up, and by draining the water away, its much quieter. They do say by removing the plug the unit is not as efficient in cooling, but honestly I couldn't tell the difference and having run quieter for a bedroom was the better option for me. It has have a few rattles but if you press on the plastic front until it stops, you can see where its coming from. I had to put a wood shim to stop a rattle. But you will find this with all units in this price range.

The app gives you so much info about the unit and how it's running and able to change eight from you phone so no looking for the remote or spending time at the unit to change anything. Watching a movie and getting too warm. Don't have to leave the comfy spot or get up of you are cuddling on the couch.

Needs to have a remote room temp sensor. The sensed temp (inside the unit) works ok if its running but if fan off (in econo mode) the sensed temp is not even close to the room temp and the unit doesn't come on as you would expect. Recommend with a "?" because of that feature

Bought this a/c to help cool room. It is fantastic as far as cooling goes BUT it is installed as stated in directions. It is tilted at correct angle but it leaks water inside right next to electrical wire. We have tilted it more that the 5 degrees it said and at times still have an issue with it dripping water inside. ;-(

I got this after my old AC broke down and I never realized how cold my room could get! And quick too! I got it a few weeks before the heat wave here in Cali and the WiFi feature helped soooo much! I would turn it on when I would be on my way home from work and by the time I got home my room was nice and chill! It also has a cool feature where you can see how much energy you're using. My only gripe with it is it's pretty loud when you first turn it on and has to kick in the cold, I got used to it but it was pretty alarming at first

Works great, only thing is we can’t connect to Wi-Fi because password info was on the side of ac, which isn’t accessible or isn’t usable because it was damaged with insulating foam. That selling point is of use to us. Should be able to find with registration information.

I purchased it because our central air was down and going to take a week to repair. I installed it upstairs in a 2500 square foot house and it kept the most of the house at a comfortable temperature till the ac was fixed. I now use it in an addition on the back of the house that has always been warmer than the reset of the house and it works perfectly.

I bought this to supplement my comfort in our bedroom. It’s quiet, cools quickly and sufficently for our large bedroom. Wi-fi feature is a plus. I’ve already saved substantially on my central AC costs, as I no longer have to cool my whole house at night. 

I like this air conditioner and it has nice features, such as the eco mode and auto fan speed. I also like the remote control so that I don't have to leave my desk. My only complaint is that it is louder than I had hoped. I use it in a small office, so I need it to be as quiet as possible.

The unit works very well and seems to be pretty on spot as far as temp set to actual temp. The unit does drip externally during high humidity. The fan also hits the water collected in the evaporation pan on those days. I am not sure if that is by design or just a space saving measure for the housing. All in all, we are very satisfied with the performance and output of the unit. The remote has a great range and controls all functions of the unit. I do not like the way the display works, it goes dark after a time, and you have to push a button on the remote to light it up, then push again to change a setting. I really don't think that saves enough energy to be a feature.
