I love this air conditioner. Its small but efficient to cool off my room. I love that it pairs with my phone so I can turn it off and on. Also choose the setting and see how much I use it. The scheduled on and off is also nice so I'm not using it while I'm away.

The remote wifi setup was difficult based on provided documentation in the box, but GE has a tutorial on a popular video website how to set it up, just search GE Remote Appliance control and pick the video that best meets your product. Now I know the trick, its easy. I can turn on the AC while driving home from work, so the room is nice and cold when I get home, or if you are out on the town and can turn it on while driving home. I love the fact there is a drain plug that can be removed to allow water to drain out instead of building up in unit. I use it in a bedroom, so the pinging of water keeps me up, and by draining the water away, its much quieter. They do say by removing the plug the unit is not as efficient in cooling, but honestly I couldn't tell the difference and having run quieter for a bedroom was the better option for me. It has have a few rattles but if you press on the plastic front until it stops, you can see where its coming from. I had to put a wood shim to stop a rattle. But you will find this with all units in this price range.

It cools our room down to a very comfortable temperature just being on 68 on a very hot day. I keep it on 69 at night on the auto fan setting in energy saver mode and it keeps me comfortable enough to sleep all night. I am 5 months pregnant, so comfort is a huge deal to me. I love that it connects to wifi and I can control it with my phone. If I happen to get too hot or too cold, I can easily adjust it using my phone without even getting out of bed. GE is a brand I know and trust and this was a very wise investment! I highly recommend this unit.

I needed a new air conditioner as the last one I bought was 16 years ago and it gave out on me last summer. Same brand and I absolutely love that I am able to control the new air conditioner from the app on my phone!! I will continue to use this same brand for all my air conditioning needs.

I needed to upgrade my A/C unit. The one I had just wasn't keeping up. The features on this unit caught my eye so I gave it a try. I couldn't be happier with my decision!! Love the wi-fi connectivity, love the ap, and it keeps up with size of the room and keeps us cool!! I highly recommend this product!!

Bought this air conditioner right before the heat wave here in NY. Glad I did. We can have it on 75, Eco, low fan and it cools off a large room and keeps it cool. Love the remote. Now when I cook in my narrow galley kitchen, I stay cool. Fast delivery too

Really like this air conditioner - pretty quiet considering it’s a window unit. It was easy to install. My only qualm with including remote controls is that you have to be right next to the unit to see what settings you’re choosing which makes the remote just a buying hook. It would be great if the remote included the settings on it ie: actual fan levels, the different modes, a temperature gauge!

I love my new AC! Full disclosure, it was damaged when I got it so I can't read the front display. It took me a while to get and I knew an exchange would be a hassle with Covid, so I thought I'd just live with it. I have it hooked up to my Google Home anyways so it doesn't really matter. It's small but not only does it cool my entire room, it's actually powerful enough to cool my whole apartment! The only thing I would be mindful of is the Eco option. I need to read up on it a little more, but it seems to just turn on and off at will, and sometimes when you power it on, if the Eco option is on, no air comes out. You have to set it to "Cool" for a constant stream. All in all it's an awesome unit and for the price I'd for sure get it again. Highly recommend!

The app gives you so much info about the unit and how it's running and able to change eight from you phone so no looking for the remote or spending time at the unit to change anything. Watching a movie and getting too warm. Don't have to leave the comfy spot or get up of you are cuddling on the couch.

I’ve owned it for less than 3 years. It was only used for 6 months, intermittently between seasons. Then it couldn’t operate properly. I discovered on my own that it’s likely a faulty motherboard due to a power surge, which I find hard to believe considering I’ve NOT had a power surge damage any product I’ve owned in 20 years. Regardless, General Electric will offer you a few dollars on a rebate form/card that they mail to you in about two months. The credit I received is 20% of the price I paid for it. Oh and you can only use the credit for another General Electric product. So goodbye $250. Don’t buy. I regret it.
