Great AC, basic install really easy installation. Downloading and setting up app was fairly easy, so long as you use the correct letters and numbers for the password, that are located on the side of the appliance. Really like how we can adjust the settings on the app from our phone. Does a great job of cooling the room even on "Eco" mode which is what we have been using since we purchased it. Definitely recommend this product!

We do have central air, however; the back of the house stays warmer than the rest. We installed it in our laundry room window and the air conditioner even cools the kitchen area that it blows into as well. Not sure of the footage but these two rooms on the west side of the house, unshaded and lower pitched roofing on the laundry room-they have become the coolest rooms in the house instead of the warmest.

This product was super easy to install and the instructions were perfect. The app is easy to use and you can easily control it from you phone. The only initial scare I had was that during the first five minutes after the completed installation, it was only blowing hot, room temperature air. However after around five to ten minutes of this, it started to cool down, and eventually, now, is blowing cold air. I would definitely recommend this product, as of right now (as I’ve only owned it for a few hours), to everyone. It was quick and easy to install and is doing the job it is supposed to do for a very fair price.

This is in my insulated workshop. It does a good job and it's quieter than other models. Remote control is nice. Phone app is nice also, when it works. It lags, and I've had to load it twice because it was giving me error messages. I had to call GE for assistance, and they gave great customer service. I've already recommended this product to others, and now a relative has one in his shop also.

Bought this air conditioner for my small business office and it works great! I love that its wifi controlled so if I ever forget to turn it off, I can do it from my phone, set schedules, etc. I liked it so much I ended up buying a second one for another small building.

it was very easy to put together , 59 year old female here , and my daughter helped me put in window fits like a glove , I Love it . It gets 100 plus here in Texas and it keeps my living area very comfortable . I love the wifi , my google home changes temp for me , its a great product.

I love the WiFi feature that allows me to turn the air conditioner on when I am not home. My house can start cooling down before I walk in the door. I just don't like the fact that the directional levers don't actually change the direction of the air flow out of the air conditioner. They have turned out to be useless as far as sided to side.

we have about a 300 sq. ft guest room that needs cooling in the afternoon and evenings. This unit is fantastic. It cools the room down in minutes and I control it from my phone from anywhere I get phone service. It's been over 100 degrees here all last week.

I purchased a GE model AHK08LZW1 air conditioner in the summer of 2021. Used it 4 weekends, unplugged it for the winter. When plugged back into outlet in May of 2022 it will start but shuts off after 30 seconds of running with an error code of 88. Do not think I will ever buy anymore GE products

This is the third GE window air conditioner I've bought in the last 10 or so years. This latest one replaces the first on I bought more than 10 years ago. I made the room bigger. The first 2 still work great and the latest is perfect for the size of the room now. I would recommend GE window air conditioners to anyone needing one.
