Live in Minnesota, grill and smoke all year round. I rely on Kingsford to provide the constant heat and performance necessary in 10 below weather. Other Brands just don't measure up. I use a lot of charcoal so larger packaging would interest me greatly or possibly a full pallet purchase from the factory... is that possible?

When the storms of April 27th, ravaged Alabama , my Disaster Relief team at my church went into action, we began feeding people hot meals everyday, we used an outrageous amount of Kingsford Charcoal and starter fluid, we would not use any other kind, we still only use and will continue to use Kingsford it is the BEST, thank you so much....

The last six bags of Kingsford charcoal I have bought burnt out extremely fast!! I thought maybe just a bad bag or two but the quality is nowhere near what it used to be! Not sure if they changed their process or what but I’m definitely not buying anymore. After 35 years of what used to be a great product I’m no longer going to put myself through this aggravation!! Good by Kingsford, time to find a new favorite!

Recently, while on vacation in FL, we had to buy a new grill for the condo( the old one was a rusted mess). While I was buying it, my guest was buying a store brand charcoal at the grocery store. What a nightmare!!! Had to keep addind lighter fluid, relighting, etc. Long story short, the steaks and seafood tasted like lighter fluid and cheap charcoal. First thing next a.m., went back to the store and bought the old faithful, Kingsford. I, personally, NEVER use anything but. Long live the King(SFORD)!

This charcoal is unmatched by competitors. Don't be fooled by imitators! This charcoal is easy to light, clean burning, and long lasting. I love the flavor it gives my food. Once I learned how to grill over charcoal, I was hooked. And hooked on Kingsford!

Of all the brands out there, this is by far my favorite! I havent used charcoal in many years due to having trouble getting it lit, but they have revamped this product! I no longer have trouble lighting it, and it cooks my food in the most delicious way!! Thanks Kingsford!

I've been reading the reviews of the Kingsford "blue" and the competition briquettes. It seems that most, if not all, the folks have had prior experience with Kingsford going back several years/decades, as well as with other brands of charcoal. I haven't used charcoal since 1978. I'm just getting back into charcoal grilling and barbecuing with a newly-purchased Weber kettle. So, I have no point of reference, save for my experience getting back into charcoal. I followed the instructions for using my chimney starter. I'm learning, slowly, how to moderate the cooking temp by opening/closing the grill vents, AS WELL AS adjusting the amount of charcoal. The only problem I'm finding with the product is the amount of ash. I'm told that it's normal for briquettes. I tried another brand of lump charcoal in a dry run; but I haven't cooked with it yet. It burns hotter and faster than the briquettes. I'm establishing my baseline with Kingsford blue. I'm adjusting the grill vents, cooking times and amount of charcoal based on my current experience, without the benefit of having used the product in the past. So far, I did one rack of ribs and one beef brisket. Both were tasty, with no off taste. BUT, both came out on the dry side, due no doubt to my struggle to maintain a low and slow cooking temp. I gave Kingsford blue a 3-star rating only because I'm just starting out. It's a brand I recognize and trust. As I gain more experience I'll venture out to try different brands. But for now, Kingsford blue is it for me. If it ain't broke, I ain't fixin' it.

I use charcoal for all my grilling and smoking. I've got something cooking outdoors at least four nights a week. This stuff is easy to use. Lights quick, burns hot. One drawback is the amount of ash it leaves, but I figure that's due to the clay filler. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever. As a tip, throw a handful of well soaked hardwood chips in the charcoal before cooking your foods. Apple, Pecan and Hickory make a fantastic blend and enhance just about any meat you might be cooking up.

As always, Kingsford is the King. This is a great deal also.
