We enjoyed getting these at Sam’s due to the price per ounce but now our Depot store has it for less without it being on sale. This might change in time but for now we will shop where the deals are.

It’s charcoal! A Member’s Mark charcoal would have burnt just as well and would have increased my savings! Instead of deeper savings, Sam’s Club has me burning my cash…

As long as I've known Kingsford been a product that's been use in our family for grilling since I've been old enough to know about grilling. My dad used it, and every cookout we had by family and friends, Kingsford has been the one use for cookouts. Now as a adult that's the go to product I use for grilling for meats, vegetables, and seafood, it's the best!

I have in the past used different typs of charcoal and let me just tell you right now, nothing and I do mean nothing compares to the taste and long life burning of the Original Kingsford Coals. I have now used this wonderful product for more than 10 yrs, and I swear by it. I will never change regardless if your 2 or 3 dollars higher, this product wins my vote hands down. Happy Grilling!!!!

I have used Kingsford for over 30 years and the last few years the longevity of the charcoal had decreased to a point that it will not last long enough to grill a burger let alone a chicken on direct heat. I don't know what you who have given reviews and are stating it lasts along time, are doing to make it last. I use a large bbq and a portable one and as an example I used a half a bag of match light ( were on our boat ) in my small bbq and let the charcoal get white, took about 15 min, the coals lost there heat before the burgers were done. I wasn't to many years ago I would have coals left over after grilling chicken. I have seen the change in the appearance in the briquettes and I thought it was just me at first, but know I know it is not me it is the briquettes. I am looking for a new briquette to use. I do a lot of cooking , winter and summer, and need a briquette that will last the way kinsford use to. A good briquette has to have two main qualities, one is longjevity and the other is good smoke taste, Kingsford you now only have one of the two. Please bring back the old briquettes for those of us who do slow cooking.

I've been Bar B Queuing for 35 years, whole hog...1000 chicken halves at a time...brisket....ribs...pizza...you name it..Kingsford has always been my choice but why the shrinking bags and smaller briquettes? I don't think the product you're making now matches the quality reputation you once had. I'll still be a patron, but change isn't always good.

We've been using Kingsford Charcoal for as long as i can remember and its consistent and never disappoints. Lights evenly and is reliable; we use this for year round grilling here in the Windy City! I stock up on this every single year and have always been a faithful customer. Thanks for providing a great product.

I have used Kingsford for as long as I have been barbacuing. It always lights well and stays lot long. When I lived in West Virginia, I had a grill designed like a stage coach, and I believe it came from Kingsford. My 4 grown children all use Kingsford, and we always will!

i only use kingsford charcoal i have worked with food my hole life iam a classicly trained butcher and chef who lives by the creed food is love is life so its safe to say that when it comes to grilling i only use charcoal and the best charcoal on the market is kingsford i have even went as far as to geting a tattoo of a kingsford bricket from the match light bag on my neck i even cook on a kingsford premium series grill so to sum things up all hail to the king!

We have used Kingsford charcoal three or more times a week for decades with excellent results. Now, everything is coming out charred on the outside, even with cutting the amount of charcoal back and keeping the vents closed. So far we still haven't discovered how to adapt our use to duplicate our old, *perfect* results. I don't know how the new charcoal compares to other brands, but it sure can't stand up to the old Kingsford.
