I have always used Kingsford Original. It lights quickly and easily. The reason it didn't get the 5th star is there is a small window for cooking your food before the best heat is gone.

Kingsford is the only charcol we use. its to hot to use the oven in summer so we grill every night.Kingsford lights quickly,evenly so you only taste the quality of Kingsford charcole and not lighter fluid. Nothing better!!!!

Ive always been a KINGSFORD man....Kingsford is a TUFF charcoal...quick to start and lasts longer than the rest...doesnt crumble and fizzle out! And the flavor enhancing taste is by far the best!

Kingsford Original is excellent in even burning and heat generation. It is also the longest burning charcoal I have ever used. Although I have used the Kingsford Hickory and Kingsford Mesquite, the Original is still the very best

We always use lump coal. We tried this brand and everyone complained of a chemical taste similar to lighter fluid. We use paper and a vortex chimney to light no fluid. I hope it doesn’t tarnish our reputation.

Every time I use Kingsford it burns at the right speed. On occasion when using other charcoal it seams to burn very quickly and uneven. I have to use 30% -40% more. Won't be using them anymore.

I just Kingsford Original exclusively, and only wish I could find the 2 bag deal more than just in the Spring/Summer, cause I like to use my smoker year round!!

I must say that Kingsford is a great and dependable product. It is amazing how the food taste when compared to other brands while being grilled. This is our go to product!!

Kingsford WAS my family brand for decades. The new charcoal is worthless for low and slow cooks. And that is SAD. Another product that was passed down for generations has been ruined by corporate greed.
