I will never use this charcoal ever again it is too thin upon using it I added extra to the grill but as I started cooking that wasn't even enough. I would definitely not recommend this product ever again and I will no longer use Kingsford ever again.

This is consistent charcoal. I use it in my weber with good results every time. Not crushed to death and a decent deal for 2 bags. If I'm out of coals, will grab this at Sams. Sometimes I use other brands but this just reminds me of family cookouts. The smell is nice and clean with just right smoke. Put 3 cotton balls soaked with 91% Isopropyl alcohol on bottom of a chimney under coals and light. You won't even need lighter fluid.

I am a Long time users of KIngsford Charcoal. This season I bought a 2x20 lb package as we usually do. I find the new coals don't last as long. The old briquet was larger than the new ones. We have also found they don't last as long. Please go to the old tried and true.back

My family has used Kingsford charcoal all my life. These last few times my husband made us a barbecue, it had a really wierd flavor, not a good one. I thought it might be in the lighter fluid. So we bought one of those chimneys that lets you start a fire without it. The wierd taste is still there. It is so bad the food is inedible. I want to know what you did to this charcoal. Is there some kind of chemical additive? Did you change the kind of wood? I really want to know what happened to this product.

I used these at our Easter get together last month, not only were they easy to light, but they burned from the afternoon well into the evening. We had good times, a great cookout, and a memorable bonfire after the grilling was done. Used the whole bag and I'd say it lasted at least five hours in our grill pit.

I've always used Kingsford Charcoal for all my Weber grills, Smokey Joe, 18.5 Weber Grill and my 18.5 Weber Smoker, and the results are always good!! I've used the Mesquite for my steaks, burgers, etc. I've used the Hickory for my ribs and pulled pork and I've also used the (New) Apple when I'm using my Smoker, but the best part is how fast the charcoal lights up and retains the heat for a long period of time!!

If you're looking for the best flavor, then use Kingsford. This brand has been around since I was a child and my parents BBQ'd. I now use it for BBQ's with my family. We look forward to every summer season so we can whip out the grill and use our Kingsford Bricks to char delicious meals.

Our Church has held 2 Chicken BBQs per year for over 40 years, and we have always used Kingsford Original Charcoal. This year, due to price increases, we decide to purchase a cheaper brand of charcoal. We made a Huge mistake. Half way through cooking the Chicken, the charcoal went out, and we spent over an hour lighting more charcoal to cook the rest of the chicken. We were lucky enough to cook the rest of the chicken and sell it all, but we will never again use a sub-par charcoal. From now on, it will be Kingsford Original Charcoal.

I WON'T BUY ANY OTHER BRAND OF CHARCOAL, BECAUSE YOUR PRODUCT IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET. IT LIGHTS EASY, BURNS EVEN & IS READY VERY QUICKLY. YOUR LIGHTER FLUID IS GREAT ALSO. THE OTHER BRANDS IT SEEMS LIKE IT TAKES THE WHOLE BOTTLE JUST TO GET THE CHARCOAL GOING, BUT WITH YOURS IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE. IF I'M GRILLING SOMEWHERE BESIDES HOME & SOMETIMES AT HOME, I GRAB THE MATCHLIGHT SO I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DRAGGING THE FLUIID ALONG. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY IF THEY BUY ANYTHING ELSE!!!

I have learned the hard way that Kingsford is the best. While in a hurry last year to get the grill going, I ran into Kroger and grab the first bag of charcoal I could find. I really didn't think there was a difference in buying a no-named brand verses Kinsford. Well as luck would have it the charcoal would not stay lit..after tons of lighter fluid it just wasn't happening. So back to the store ...bought some Kingsford and dinner was on! From now on it's only Kinsford.
