I have always used kingsford. I find it easy to light and able to cook on it quickly. good product for all grilling needs. I have also used with my cast iron cookware. does great for the baking of breads and cakes in my pots. fits in the rim of my pan just right for easy use

I use this brand because my Dad always used Kingsford for family cookouts and it has become a family tradition with us. We have used it to cook Brisket all night and never have to worry about it not burning like we want it to. Great product that continue with our families for generations to come I am sure.

Whenever I grill, I always start with Kingsford coals! These have been my go to coals for years! The coals keep their temperature and aid in consistent cooking, whether you're direct or indirect grilling. I wouldn't choose any other brand...Kingsford equates to perfection for your inner grill master!

I bought matchlight and it didn't stay hot enough to cook two small steaks medium rare....it's ridiculous for the amount of money I wasted on this charcoal. I had to bring the food inside and finish it up on the foreman grill. Get it together Kingsford!

We have used Kingsford charcoal three or more times a week for decades with excellent results. Now, everything is coming out charred on the outside, even with cutting the amount of charcoal back and keeping the vents closed. So far we still haven't discovered how to adapt our use to duplicate our old, *perfect* results. I don't know how the new charcoal compares to other brands, but it sure can't stand up to the old Kingsford.

I use only Kingsford Charcoal and mostly the original. I have tried off brands / bargain brands, but as they say, "You get what you pay for." I try to stock up when some of the big box stores offer a 2 for special sale price and often it lasts me all season . . I mean I stock up to the tune of 20+ bags . . . I will never run out . . and I also use the Kingsford Brand lighter fluid. After trying so many others nothing beats Kingsford for fast lighting, heat and long lasting ! I 100% recomend the use of Kingsford.

my fiance and i only use kingsford charcoal because he won't touch a gas grill. it is easy to light and we don't have to use very much charcoal. it makes the food taste way better than a gas grill hands down!! we don't use anything else but KINGSFORD!!!

I buy this product by the truckload. LOL! No, literally, we buy anywhere from 10-20 bags at a time. This is the only charcoal we use and being from the south, we can use this to BBQ every weekend of the year if we like. I love Kingsford and refuse to use anything else.

Up until recently, as a professional chef for over 30 years, I have been a huge consumer and promoter of Kingsford. However they have apparently made a change to their product that renders it useless for smoking or grilling. This charcoal now fires up and burns out without generating enough heat to put a sear on a steak or even a piece of fish. It burns out so quickly that you are unable to cook chicken or pork without having to add additional coals. It is no longer feasible to use in my smoker because of it's short burn life.Very dissappointing for a brand that set the bar for grilling professionals. I would recommend using natural chunk charcoal and avoid this product until they revert back to their old recipe.

I started useing a charcoal grill about 4 years ago after our family started camping and my youngest son said that the food tasted better over charcoal then gas. I use my smoker with my charcoal on weekends . We've also used mesquite but I prefer the original briquets.
