Spoiled Meat

I should have read reviews before purchasing sliced lamb. Purchased two packages and tried to cook them. It's been over 24 hours, and I can still smell it in the house with open windows. Both packages went in a trash. What a waste of time and money.

Foul Smell even worst taste!

This is the worst lamb we ever bought. The best by date was 12/18, we bought it on 12/15 and tried to prepare it on 12/16. The meat looked great but as soon as we opened the package the foul smell was overwhelming. We attempted to curry the meat to try and save it to no avail. Fortunately, SAMS refunded us without question.

Don't buy it. It was spoiled.

I would give this a zero stars if I could. I bought it on December 20th and it was dated to be sold by December 26th. I opened it on the 22nd and expected to have lamb or dinner, but it was inedible. The meat smelled terrible when I opened the package and I assumed that it was just the gases they pack the meat with to help keep it fresh. This usually airs out in a very short time. No so. I packaged it up in my own bags and by Monday evening the meat was turning colors that indicated spoilage. I wasn't about to fight Christmas eve traffic to take the meat back and by the 26th I wasn't going to attempt to take it back, as it was completely rotten. $20+ straight to the garbage. I will NEVER buy lamb at Sam's again!

All fat and very little meat -- buy the loin chops

Very very fatty and have that odor that cryovacced meat often has. The loin chaps are far superior for almost the same price per pound. Lots of waste due to bones and fat.

Not good.

When I purchased the item, the package was slightly puffy. When I opened the package of lamb, it had a sour fuel smell to it. Do not recommend this product needs to be taken off of shells.

Spoiled meat

Disappointed. My lamb was spoiled when I opened sealed package. I had to open all windows in home to get the odor out.
