Disappointed on Carpets

We bought this to compliment a competitive brand that we moved downstairs after finishing our basement. Setup on the product was easy as expected and with the first use of the product I noticed right away how well it did on hard surfaces. However I am very disappointed about how poorly it picks up per hair on carpeted areas. It hardly seems to pick up any of the dog hair where there's carpet. Not very happy and I don't think I could recommend this product to anyone with pets.

Hello Dave, what you may be seeing could be what we call 'floor conditioning', which may happen during the initial few runs of your Roomba! Your Roomba is just trying to get your floor to a base level of clean that it can then maintain, so we would suggest running it for a few days in a row to allow it to get to that point!
