This IBot 3 vacuum is fantastic. We had a Neto for several years which was fantastic, especially with mapping your home, but wanted the main dirt disposal bin vacuum. The I3 was the least in price, but still had the expensive mapping feature. Mapping is everything when it comes to these vacuums. The IBot knows when the vacuum is full, returns to the base, and empties. It will then return where it left off and start again. Eventually, it will return, empty, recharge, then start up again. It will vacuum out entire house easily in a couple of hours. The key is placement of the base unit free from any obstructions. The first placement was slightly tight, and it had problems returning to the base. Once I put in an open area, not one issue. Well worth the money. Don't waste your money on $200 - $300 vacuums. I tried the shark first, and that units mapping was not consistent and it would get lost. We have 2 golden retrievers and this IBot picks up all the hair! I highly recommend this vacuum!!!

My Roomba i3+Works well. Pros: It picks up most of the dirt. I mapped my house and now it will clean the whole house. Or just designated rooms. It self empties after parking itself. Con: it takes a very long time to clean an area. It takes some time to prepare a room.

People complain about these being loud when they run and I really can't figure out why. It's much quieter than the average vacuum, because you're not having to stay right next to it like a normal vacuum cleaner, in fact most of the time it's in a whole other room, and especially because you have the option to run it when you're not home. So I'm unsure why that's a compliant at all. It is true that the self-emptying sounds like a jet engine taking off though. But it only lasts a few seconds. This thing is not a top of the line roomba. It is not the highest end technology that Roomba has to offer. You can't choose what room(s) you want it to do, but that's fixable by no-go-zone strips or by closing a door. The app doesn't have the mapping feature, but this is the cheapest self-emptying roomba. What you're getting is clean floors with zero work put into it. It's not going to pay your bills or groom your dog for you. That's the s9+

So disappointing. I bought this for my mom, thinking that the OG of robot vacuums would be the best for her little 1000sf house. Well it wasn't, it would map the whole house and would tell her after 2 days that it was clogged. It didn't matter where it was put in her house, it would miss whole rooms! returned it after 10 days. I guess her 1950s house was just too much for this modern devise. We went with the shark model instead (which I own) and it has had NO problems.

Great Value. But don't even think about buying a roomba without that storage tank. Our house is large, but the roomba runs out of room 3 times in one day of cleaning. It's fine with the tank because it will go back to the base and empty itself and keep going...but man would I be frustrated if it did 1/3 of the house and I had to empty it every single day.

This is my 4th Roomba. This one has amazing cleaning power and it empties itself! That's the one thing I hated about Roombas. They would clean for a little while and then I would have to empty and clean the them. So I rarely used them. But the i3 changed all of that. I have it programmed to clean every night and my carpets and floors are clean! I love it!

Just put in lifetime vinyl flooring. The Rumba does a wonderful job.

Didn’t work well for us. Was going all over the place. Had to watch it like a kid because it would constantly get stuck and was very loud. Sometimes I think reviews on items are staged. This item was not even close to what reviews said.

This iRobot Roomba is a dream come true. No more messing with dust and dirt. It does sound like a jet taking off when it empties, but other than that just program it and forget about it. I always have clean floors now and it is wonderful!!!!!

2 golden retrievers. With the older first generation I had to go behind it a vacuum a second time. Took a shot with the new self cleaning model. No clogs. No second vacuuming session. It works excellent. Huge improvement with mapping and coverage. The added bonus, is that it’s MUCH quieter than the old model.
