Peace of Mind!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a vacation home and am looking forward to "keeping an eye" on it when we are not there. Aside from the complexity of installing/hiding wiring in attics and walls, the Defender 4K was very easy to install. The power connections, wiring and connections are very well made, well marked and a breeze to connect. My only issue was the DVR power supply out of the box would not power up. A new power supply and DVR is being shipped out, and once it is installed, I'll update the review. Looking forward to having the peace of mind Defender 4K will bring.

Great picture and easy set up
I purchased this unit about a month ago. We love it. It has a great picture and the set up was as easy as it could be. I would have given it 5 stars but I am having a slight problem with getting notifications. I have contacted customer support. Once this gets resolved it will be definitely a 5 star.

Amazing System - Great Value
Bought this May29 2020. The quality is great. The camera resolution is fantastic, day or night. The software is feature rich, has many options. The mobile app is what pushes this over the value limit, being able to monitor or playback remotely. I chose the hard wired system, because regardless of whether the internet is up or down, this unit is always recording. I recommend this to anyone looking for a security system.

Definite Step Up
The 4K system is obviously better than it's predecessor. I purchased the Defender HD approximately 2 years ago and there's is a discernible difference. The picture clarity on this system is markedly more clear at both short and long range. In addition, the extended memory is a very nice feature. If that wasn't enough the night vision is better. All in all, I don't think a person could go wrong buying this system it seems great.

Full coverage and then some
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out with a basic camera on the house and it helped track things and made us feel a bit more secure, but it wasn't full coverage. We feel more secure with this set up. It covers all the angles we need and the resolution and quality of the cameras make a difference. We have known multiple people who were robbed and caught the thieves on camera with security cams, but could never do anything about it because the detail in the image was just too low for the cops to work with. Hopefully this great looking camera system scares them away, and if it doesnt we can catch a usable image of their face to bring them to justice and keep the neighborhood safe.

Peace of mind !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Defender 4K security system has become my favorite system, we consistently had a security system in the house and were looking for something different. This one is so easy to install, instructions are easy to follow and I mean from the set up of the cameras to the app; and by the way I just love that I can leave the house and at the same time check on my house any time I want, that truly is peace of mind, and I can review any recordings at any time to the second.. that's wonderful! and the picture quality is so nice, naturally the day time is way better than night view but I'd say they are both clear enough and you can definitely recognize faces. I highly recommend! there is nothing like a sense of security not just for a part of the day but all day all the time.

It is what they said it was.
Bought it to put in a shop building. Installed both inside and outside. Video is more that acceptable and installation was easy. Hope ouside cameras hold up in the weather. My only complaint is that the cameras do not adjust very easy when mounted horizontally.

Our HOA bought this system for the monitoring of the pool, parking lot and surrounding area....IT IS GREAT! Each board member can use their phone to see what the cameras are capturing...it met our needs perfectly. We no longer wonder what is going on at the pool...we just pull it up on our iPhone. It was simple to install and very easy to set up and use. We recommend it for anyone. BTW, I have one for my home as well.

Great picture, difficult physical setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is great and everything is very easy to use but due to the cameras being wired you have to do an enormous amount of planning and labor for installation. For a business or office with drop tile ceilings or new construction this would be fantastic but for established homes I would suggest considering wireless based on my experience.

Great resolution quality
We purchase these cameras for different clients, starting with the 1080HD now 4k, great quality, easy to install and configure. Just remember to get 4k quality, make sure the tv/monitor can do 4k. We normally purchase a 4k TV for our clients to view.
