I installed my system about 3 weeks ago. The installation for the cameras and the DVR are easy; the hardest part is pulling your soffit and installing braces depending on how you are anchoring your cameras. Picture quality is great on the cameras and the app is awesome! When I'm out of town on travel, I can look up in real time what is going on at my house as well as use playback to look up motion events that occurred.

Purchased this a month ago. The sales staff were very helpful, and the system has lots of great features - that work. We were drawn here by a recommendation from a colleague, after we read a large number of poor reviews on more commonly used "cheaper" video monitoring systems. So far we are very happy with our choice to go with Defender.

So we decided to try out the Defender 4K (8MP) Wired Security System with 4 Cameras. We were a little nervous about installing these ourselves but it was actually very straightforward. We did watch a couple videos online to assist. We are very pleased with the quality of all of the equipment and happy how easy it was to set up. The picture quality is amazing, clear and up close looking. We are very happy with all of the features and are actually having a lot of fun testing everything out. The price for the quality you get is great. I definitely recommend this product.

This product is simple to get set-up and program and easy to use. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a little extra security. The best feature is the local DVR, no extra fees to access the cloud, and it can be programmed for remote viewing. Works great!

Bought this about 6 weeks ago and I just installed it 3 days ago (reason for 4 stars). The quality seems to be good and easy to use,nice clear pictures. Wish it came with a user manual for faster, easier references. I think it is going to do a good job for what we needed.

There are a lot of videos available demonstrating exactly how to install them. Ive also found customer service so helpful in alleviating concerns and answering questions. The video quality is excellent and now I have peace of mind when I am not home. Don't procrastinate and put them up and enjoy them!!

Defender 4K (wired) was easy to install, had a little trouble with email notifications. Contacted online support Yvonne M was a great help had me fixed in a few minutes, was a setting in google blocking it. Picture quality is great and customer support is awesome.

The video is excellent , the app is free, the set up was a breeze. Now I could ramble on but I'll get to the point , I am older and the menu took a while for me to figure out but I am learning it and their are so many options to personalize the system to your liking ! The app is good and there are no fees. Really impressed by the night vision , it is much better than I thought it would be. I bought this wired sytem and because I had good access to my attic and eves, with a little planning it was easy to set up , your mileage may vary. recommend, heck yes !

Out of the box the cameras are pleasant enough to look at and blend in pretty well with the white trim on my house. But they are still visible enough to provide a deterrence to unwanted visitors. My husband set it up and it appeared to be fairly easy (since he did no complaining about it). Post set up, the picture quality is far better than I was expecting especially at night time. Downloaded the app to my phone so when we are away we can still check on the house. The Defender Security system has given me the gift of piece of mind because I know a look at my house is only a phone image away.

This camara comes with a feature that you can connect to your cell phone that will send alerts to your phone when motion is detected. I think that this is a great feature. These camera's have high quality colored pictures and at night the pictures are black and white.With this security system you can record continuously or just record when there is motion.These camera's cover our entire property which gives us a peace of mind.I think these cameras will provide us security for a long time.The phone that I have right now doesn't take pictures but I will provide pictures as soon as possible.
