Nice security system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice wired security system! All of the needed components arrived nicely packaged. The system is fairly easy to install and comes with an easy to understand set up guide. The cameras are light weight but are quality built and sturdy. The DVR component is slim and easy to store with other components. The picture quality is remarkable with excellent night vision. This is a great security system!

Excellent video

We bought this unit to monitor our goat barn. So far we have 6 of the cameras connected; the last two will go to monitor the garage door and our side entry door; It was a task to run the wires so they are concealed but activating the dvr was relatively simple. We were surprised on the clarity and sharpness of the pictures; The night vision is remarkable. After other reviews and some mentioned camera failure, I was concerned when one camera started flickering and went out within the first few hours. I removed the connection and reconnected making sure good contact; Has been fine since; We are very happy with it so far. I can not attest to the dependability since we've had it only one week.

Great resolution quality

We purchase these cameras for different clients, starting with the 1080HD now 4k, great quality, easy to install and configure. Just remember to get 4k quality, make sure the tv/monitor can do 4k. We normally purchase a 4k TV for our clients to view.

Quality Unit

I had a defender before but it died, I looked at the other products but didn't like the reviews so I decided to buy the 4K defender, It does work with my old cameras, I will install the 4k cameras once the snow is gone. Only issue I have to getting the camera's to display on my PC, will call support for assistance.

clear picture

Defender family for many years. Picture qulity is great compare to older models i have had. Quick and eazy to setup if you can run wires. Couple of issues, one no remote to check dvr have to use a ladder when i want to check my dvr with the mouse that was provided but a very short cord. Also not all of my cameras stay color at night. If the cameras dont have a surface to reflect light off i noticed they go back to black and white.

well made

I got this through Amazon as a replacement for the one we had before. The picture is so clear and the installation was easy because the wiring was the same as our old one. Being able to view it on my phone makes it so much easier to look through footage when we need to.

Awesome System with Great Features

I installed this same system at the school where I work and was so impressed with it that I bought a system for my home. It is easy to install and setup. The video quality is excellent, even at night. The DVR is easy to use, and the app is fast and easy to use as well. I highly recommend this system.
