[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothpaste had a pretty strong mint flavor and was a bit more gritty than others. It helped get my teeth feeling clean and foamed well. I like that it doesn't have a bunch of dyes. Unfortunately, it didn't help with my tooth sensitivity, but I think my teeth are a bit whiter after a few uses.

I haven’t noticed a difference in anything else. My wife has sensitive teeth and she said this did bother her teeth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample I of Arm & Hammer Advanced White Extreme Whitening with Stain Defense from Influenster and Arm & Hammer for my honest review. I got a sample of this toothpaste and it was different than any other toothpaste I’ve tried before. The flavor is supposed to be minty. I myself tasted the baking soda in the toothpaste. The baking soda was too overpowering for my taste. I still used the toothpaste to see if it worked well to whiten my teeth like it states. It did whiten my teeth in a subtle way. It didn’t make a huge difference for me or to anyone to point out how much whiter they had gotten. I don’t know if that’s because it was just a sample of the product instead of a full tube. So I would try the full tube of toothpaste to see what a difference it would make by using a full tube VS. a sample tube. If you can get over the overbearing taste if baking soda I think that it’s definitely worth a try to see how well it whitened the teeth using the full tube. So for me I’d recommend Arm & Hammer Advanced White Extreme Whitening with Stain Defense worth a try if you’re not one to gag on the baking soda taste it has.

Before trying this product I had never brushed with the Arm & Hammer brand, but as I said I was pleasantly surprised. Been using this product a bit over a week and I honestly don’t think I’ll go back to my previous brand. I can tell immediately upon brushing how much more effective it is than my previous brand. I can tell it’s actually getting my teeth much cleaner and working harder. It keeps my breathe fresh all day on top of that. Subtle but very effective mint flavor. I would definitely say this is a great value for your money. Would recommend this product to everyone!

I bought this toothpaste because I love the Arm and Hammer brand, this particular product though is probably the worst toothpaste I ever came across. The toothpaste gave me canker sores on both the inside of my mouth and all over my tongue. It also made my lips dry around the corners and bleed at about the same time the canker sores showed up (around 2 and a half weeks of continued use). I don't know if its because of the extra ingredients they added for whitening to this toothpaste compared to others from the same brand, but this product seems to really ruin your mouth. I stopped using the product after 2 and a half weeks and returned to a regular toothpaste from another brand until my canker sores were cured and my lips healed and moisturized again. I waited about 2 months until I finished the other brand toothpaste and came across the tube of Arm and Hammer AD (Extreme Whitening) again and resumed used. After 3 days much to my chagrin I had my tongue covered in canker sores again. This product is a complete dissapointment for me and I've come across similar reviews to mine on the web. I am not discouraging anyone from buying anything from A&H, but from buying this specific toothpaste. -dl

The flavor is really nice, and doesn’t have a medicinal taste like some whitening toothpastes have. The ingredients are really effective to help tackle stains on your teeth.
