The plate slots are a little wider so they get more exposure to the water. I have owned the diahwasher for a month and not had a single item I needed to rewash.

This machine is so quiet, so I need to get closer to check if it's running. The design is nice and sleek. There are three tier of racks. The middle rack is adjustable and top rack is very useful for utensils and some small items. The top control panel is easy to use and the front display shows remaining cycle time, which is very convenient. Overall the dishwasher is simple to operate, and cleans great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great dishwasher. Very quiet with superior wash & drying capabilities. The one hour cycle is a nice feature with very good results. The racks allow for large capacity loading. I would like to see slightly more room in the upper most self but not a major issue. An interior light would also be a useful addition. I would also recommend an additional option for the location of the discharge hose other than the bottom left or right side. Some kitchens have services (supplies lines or studor valves, etc) which require the discharge hose to be positioned higher making the dishwasher install somewhat tight and adding to the installation time requirement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement dishwasher, and because of my home layout, wanted/needed one that was very quiet. We'll, this is not it. This, at best, is an average dishwasher in terms of sound level. Very disappointing. As for everything else, it's excellent. Capacity is crazy. You can just keep loading it and loading it. Features are great and the controls are intuitive. Unfortunately, the sound level let's it's down. I would not have purchased it had I know how loud it was. Bad job by LG on that.

We got this one to replace an older, nearly identical LG dishwasher that had lost the long battle with my ankles, running into it when the door was down (ouch!).This one has one or two new features, except it does not seem to have an interior tub light. I probably assumed they all did. Bought it online from an orange big box store. The product description on their web site says it has an interior light. I didn't notice it until after 48 hours so could no longer return it. I also has a strange click in the door hinge when you raise the door up to close it. Otherwise, don't get me wrong, this is a nice energy efficient unit and I have always like the ThinkQ app. Just not sure what to do about the missing interior light.

I can customize the intensity per rack. I can even wash my stemware!!! Another great feature is the WiFi capability! We were able to connect it to our Alexa! I love that it's done in an hour. Best dishwasher I've owned yet!! Would definitely recommend!

So we were ready for a more modern look and function. This lg dishwasher checked all the boxes. Love the silverware rack at the top which is so functional. Also the middle rack which is adjustable and comes in handy when I need to add bigger pots on the bottom rack. It fits so much more than the older one we had. Love that the racks slide out so smoothly. The top controls are great and sleek to complete the more modern look and I love that I can see how much longer the cycle has on the digital clock. Overall, we're so pleased and happy we went with this model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish the dish holders were not straight, dishes keep falling into each other. also, the utensil holder should give you more room for forks and spoons. I would like to remove the top rack but don't see how I would do this.

This is my second LG dishwasher. Why? Because the first one was so great! So, when I needed a new one, I headed straight to the LG's for a replacement. I never had to call a repairman. The first one just got old, like we all do. My first prerequisite was that it must be quiet. WOW. It is quiet!! My second was I wanted a stainless steel tub. Success! All in all I am as satisfied with the second one as I was with the first!
