Water beads right off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself feels and looks a bit oily, but it dries well. It said to saturate and let dry. As you can see in the image, it’s wet, however, I left the cushions outside the day before a rain to dry. When it did rain the water simply beaded off!

Less Dampness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fabric protector was sprayed on our patio furniture the day before a rain storm. I did notice that the cushions repelled a bit more water than usual, but was still somewhat damp. Product does not smell very good at all. Once warmer out will try another application.

Extra layer of protection for lasting comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super easy to apply to my outdoor cushions. There is not an overwhelming chemical odor as I expected. I feel this has helped with water repellent and it creates a safe barrier to help avoid mold from forming on my outdoor cushions. I don't always remember to bring my cushions indoors with the change of weather, but I feel confident knowing I treated them with this extra layer of protection for the times when the weather is less than ideal.

Good but some drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sunbrella Restore Fabric Protector and Repellent effectively repelled water and dirt, reviving and extending the life of outdoor fabrics. Its easy application and quick drying without leaving a residue were particularly appreciated. The product restored the original color and UV protection. However, the strong chemical odor and white powder residue were drawbacks. Despite these issues, I’m satisfied with the product’s performance and consider it a worthwhile investment for my outdoor fabrics.

Smells rotten, doesn't stain, sprays a good-covera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabric protecting from elements and sun-fading products never seem to stave off the worst of nature's effects on outdoor furniture (in my opinion) which is grayish mildew splotches. I can't stand removing pillow and cushion covers to launder porch fabric so I am hoping against all odds that Sunbrella's Restore Fabric Protector & Repellent that I received complimentary as an incentive for this review will help with that because fading I can handle - in fact, fading has worked in my favor in the past with some fabric that began too vibrant and softened in color. But this stuff smells horrible. I thought that our yard-treatment service had come several days early to spray pesticides when I started to spray this on my porch furniture! I think the test of its effectiveness (or its non-effectiveness) would be what everything looks like at the end of the summer - through sun and storms.

Long lasting and easy application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so easy to use and little to no smell Is a great plus for me as well. The trigger is easy to squeeze and application is a piece of cake. I sprayed it all to my outdoor furniture and no worries of sun damage to be found. I live in SW Florida and between the sun/humidity and rain, this product is able to withstand it all.

Good stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed my outdoor furniture around my pool. The product goes on light and does not have a strong odor. It made it easier to wipe clean a mess my dog made while eating a treat on the cushions. Hoping it also helps protect from the strong AZ sunlight!

Decent Fabric Protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very similar to Scott sky. It comes in a great spray bottle and it’s easy to apply to fabrics. The smell is offputting, but most protection products are. The biggest con is the bottle, mines leaking and needed tape in order for the package to stop leaking. I haven’t noticed any stains after work, so I’m not for sure how well it works against.

Protects from dew and light spills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually tried this product on my outdoor sunbrella cushions that I have under my pergola. My cushions are white, so they definitely needed some kind of protection. The product sprays right onto the fabric. I did see the difference in protection from Morning dew. It also seems to protect from light liquid spills and makes them easier to wipe off. The packaging was okay, however, I did only give this product four stars because towards the end of the spraying, the sprayer broke. I am not sure if it was just the sprayer that was faulty or it was sprayed too hard. In any case, the sprayer stopped functioning. Overall, I think that the effectiveness of the product works well.

Florida sun is brutal, need this refresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Sunbrella Restore Fabric Protection Repellent recently on some of our outdoor cushions, and I’m honestly really happy with how it turned out. After the hurricane and all the crazy weather, our lanai furniture definitely needed some love, and this spray made a big difference. Application was super easy — just spray it evenly over clean, dry fabric. It went on smoothly without leaving any weird residue or changing the feel of the fabric, which was something I was worried about. After it dried (I let it sit for about 24 hours, just to be safe), the cushions looked refreshed and the water just beads right off now, exactly like when they were new. I also love that it helps restore the UV protection, because the Florida sun is brutal and can fade everything so fast. If I had to point out anything, I’d say make sure you’re in a well-ventilated area when you apply it — the smell is a little strong at first but it fades completely once it’s dry. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you want to protect your outdoor fabrics and make them last longer. It brought my cushions back to life and gave me peace of mind knowing they’re better protected against sun, rain, and dirt.
