I did notice that the cushions repelled a bit more water than usual, but was still somewhat damp. Product does not smell very good at all. Once warmer out will try another application.

This was easy to apply on any of the outdoor furniture and very versatile. I didn’t not much of a scent when I applied this onto it as I was outdoors.

This helped repel some of the elements like pollen and dirt. When it rained it seemed to absorb less water so it is less likely to fade. Overall this is a good product.

Water just beads and rolls right off. Highly recommend for clothes and even couches to give them and extra layer of protection.

I recently used the Sunbrella R Restore Fabric Protector & Repellent on my outdoor cushions, and I’m really impressed with the results. After a thorough cleaning, I applied the spray as directed, and it dried quickly without leaving any residue or altering the feel of the fabric. (Make sure you have plenty of ventilation). Since then, I've noticed water beads right off the surface, and spills are much easier to clean up. It also seems to help repel dirt and keep the cushions looking fresh for longer. I especially appreciate that I didn’t have to worry about any damage or discoloration. Overall, it gave my patio furniture a noticeable boost in protection, and I’ll definitely use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Florida our outdoor furniture can take a beating from the sun and rain. I found this fabric protector to work very well for its purpose. It sprays evenly from the bottle, coating surfaces easily. The scent is on the strong side, similar to a paint sealer. It goes without saying, but use it outdoors in a well-ventilated area. My chairs were dry to the touch within an hour in the full sun. I also used on our grill cover which gets hit with a lot of rain. You can see how well this spray protector helps water to bead up and not penetrate through. I still have plenty left in the bottle for touch ups or additional pieces. Good product!

I tested it out on our outdoor Sunbrella cushions and pillows that we’ve only had a year (and we live in the Midwest so the cushions had only seen sunlight for a few months). The bottle states to use on clean and dry cushions, so maybe I would have noticed more of a difference with brand spanking new cushions that hadn’t seen ANY use, but overall the spray was fine. You have to let the spray dry on the fabric for 12-24 hours and the temps have to be over 70°F. You also can’t oversaturate the fabric - it must be evenly coated (and sprayed in a criss-cross pattern). The instructions are pretty finicky. Pretty much, if you get *brand new* Sunbrella furniture/cushions you’ll probably enjoy this product quite a bit. Otherwise, it’s fairly mediocre.

My only issue is it has a very strong smell and gets on your hands so you have to be careful and wash your hands very well and only use it in an open area.
