Lifetime stands behind its products within reason. We’ve had our hoop for nearly 2 years. There were some parts that were rusting out (we live in FL). They didn’t flinch at sending the replacement parts that we needed. I can’t thank the Sales Rep, Matt, enough for going above and beyond my expectations with this experience as I was willing to pay for a share of the costs. He had it covered and shipped out to us completely free of charge.

I've always liked lifetime products. They hold up to the abuse that my kids dish out. However the basketball goal doesn't hold up to a fedex truck. That is when customer service stepped up and sent me parts to get it fixed. The parts were sent to me within 3 days of emailing. I'm a lifetime customer for life.

During the cementing of the bottom pole we made some mistakes and compromised the integrity of the steel pole. I called Lifetime and explained what happened and requested a new bottom pole. They said they understood that stuff happens and sent me the replacement pole at no charge. The lady I spoke to was great to deal with and made it quick and easy. The basketball net is great and my kids over the moon. I would recommend to anyone they use Lifetime in a heartbeat.

Decent hoop for the cost. Does bounce quite a bit, but serves the purpose for what we needed without breaking the bank. If looking for a very sturdy professional hoop then you will need to spend a bit more, but if just need for recreational fun in the driveway then this one does the trick at a decent price.

My husband is great at building things and assembling items, however this one was quite difficult. The directions were awful! There were several times when he had to take it back apart because he realized that something was in the wrong spot. The directions weren't very clear on which poles went where. They didn't have a size comparison differentiating the poles or even labels on the poles. It was trial and error on where they went. It took several hours for assembly due to lack of clarity on the directions. Once up, my family loved it. It seems a little more wobbly than I expected, but that may be the way it's supposed to be.

Lots of pieces but not difficult to assemble if one is careful. Very nice appearance and high-quality finish on all components. Only two concerns: 1) Directions are thorough but require lots of referencing back and forth to be sure the correct component is being used. I only made one mistake, and it was fairly easy to correct. 2) The plastic on the backboard is fairly thin, about 1/4'. Strength comes from the steel frame. Be aware that this is NOT a heavy, solid plastic backboard like those you encounter in schools and rec centers. Seems to work well. Grandkids love it.

It should have frame to bolt on instead of complete in ground pole. The edge protectors has holes which is good but not the back board which makes hard to drill The instructions are bit confusing and images are small on some pages. It should be clear and big so the customer can understand. Overall, it looks good and best value for the money. I just bought and installed it this week. Let's hope it will look good in years to come.

Difficult instructions to follow and to assemble. Not for the average person to attempt. Finished product was good though. Grandsons, one is 5 years and one is 12 years old, love it. Very easy to adjust height of hoop for the kids. Hopefully can survive Minnesota weather.

The only thing we didn't like was putting it together. It will take a few days to do all the steps and putting the basketball system together will take two people. It calls for 1 piece of rebar in it but we put in 3 to make it even more stable. When we finally got it up it is very nice for the price and the whole family loves it!

This basketball hoop does the trick for a nice price BUT beware... set up was a nightmare. My husband is extremely handy and this gave him so much trouble. The instructions sucked, he had to compromise many times. It took him a total of 4 hours to put this together.
