You get a good system for the investment, nothing missing, nothing defective from the factory. Directions were so so at best. Use some common sense and you can overcome the weak directions. Don't forget to buy a piece or two of 4 foot rebar from your local hardware store when you pick up the concrete as you will need it.

This rim was bought for a Christmas gift and we haven't actually taken the time to put it up yet. I assume the quality is good. But the box it came in was completely falling apart and the FedEx guy basically dropped it and ran because everything was falling out of it. Needless to say I couldn't bring it in the house to wrap it for Christmas. Kind of unhappy about that.

The install was very easy and it is a blast. I have some younger kids so the adjustable backboard allows everyone to make the shots. Its a blast for everyone. Very sturdy and great looking. Its a great changed from teh mobile unit that I had before. I expect we will get many years of enjoyment out of it.

Can’t mention then quality, and it’s a gift that hasn’t been given and opened yet. However I’m impressed with the speed of shipment. It came several days ahead of schedule. The box is completely undamaged. It looks to be a great hoop for the price!!! I am happy with it. We can’t wait to give it to him. I know it will get hours of use.

I installed with a sleeve per the instructions. The unit is a little flimsy. The pole is not real stiff. It sways and I will have to reinforce it. The backboard moves relative to the pole when a ball hits it on one side or the other of the hoop. I don't think I will be able to reinforce it, though. It was inexpensive and I guess I found out why.

Fairly easy to assemble however you should be prepared to spend all day putting it together. Took a couple hours to dig the hole and get the bottom post cemented in, then several more hours assembling the rest. Instructions were easy to follow and the quality seems to be top notch., especially for the price paid. I think Lifetime could have preassembled some of the smaller pieces which would have saved time. Would have rated it 5 stars if it hadn’t taken 8 hours to assemble.

I've had this hoop for about two weeks. It's very nice for the price. It does move a little if you hit the backboard hard, but that's to be expected. You would have to pay alot more for a solid hoop. The assembly takes a while, but it's fairly straight forward. The hardest part was telling the kids we have to wait 3 days for the concrete to dry. I would recommend keeping the parts in the bags and take them out as needed. I also purchased the ground sleeve so I could move it if needed. Overall, I nice hoop for the money.

the product is good for the price, instructions for installation is clear, but it's hard work. I divided process to 3 days, 1 day to dig a big hole, 1 day to fill in concrete, 1 day to put it all together. it takes about 4 adults to complete the final step.

a decent in ground system. I highly recommend getting a ground sleeve as well. it makes installation much easier. the backboard seemed a bit flimsy. However, once the system was up it held up well. the system looks cosmetically appealing. It does take a good 90 minutes at least to install. The directions are terrible. You have to improv a few things. You absolutely need 2 people at least to put together and install. I also bought a lifetime ground sleeve, which I was able to install myself. For the price you can't do much better. a overall a very good in ground system. I did a ton of research prior to buying and this seemed to be the best system in this price range.

The assembly was pretty straightforward and clear. The plexiglas backboard is attached to the metal frame just by some kind of adhesive however that was already coming apart requiring me to add screws to screw the backboard to the metal frame along the edges. We will see how this stands up to wind. When playing, the backboard twists and bounces around more than normal. It is not very stout. This not a terribly impressive product.
