It is a beauty now that it is up and I am not worried about my 6' teenager hanging from the hoop because it it good quality. And worth the money even with what I spent on concrete and the hole digging to get it up. THE COMPANY 'LIFETIME' HAS A GREAT WEBSITE WITH DOWNLOADABLE INFO. AND they were very responsive and helpful on the phone when I needed moral support! Much happier than the flimsy lone backboard I was going to buy..a good investment!

Thought it would be much harder to put up than it was. Really went up with no problem and I am very happy we choose the in-ground model. Sum it up - easy put together and quality materials. Thanks Lifetime for the product and thank you Wal-mart for the great price.

The instructions are not very clear. The diagrams are from different angles and it gets confusing very quickly. The instructions call for the wrong marked bags of parts. The goal is great and is a good value. However the instructions need to be clarified.

the product is good for the price, instructions for installation is clear, but it's hard work. I divided process to 3 days, 1 day to dig a big hole, 1 day to fill in concrete, 1 day to put it all together. it takes about 4 adults to complete the final step.

I didn't want to spend $750+ on a first time goal for my daughters, so I decided on this one. A friend of mine and I put it up today, and it took exactly 6 hours...and that included the fast set concrete setting up. Steps: 1) Dig hole 2) Pour concrete in the hole 3) Set bottom pole in the concrete and level the post...put rebar inside of pole 4) While the concrete is setting up...assemble the goal itself. There are approximately 20 steps to follow and it's awkward at times, but be patient and it's not too bad. NOTE: After about 30 minutes, go back and fill the bottom pole with concrete until it reaches the bottom of the slots at the top of the bottom pole...then continue w/ goal assembly. 5) Once the goal is completely assembled...stand it up and install it on the bottom pole. Make sure you lower the goal all the way down before doing this, and it makes it much easier to handle. Once you have the poles all tied together, take the rim and twist the goal around until the screw hole at the bottom of the middle pole, line up with the slot in the bottom pole. 7) Get on a ladder and hammer the poles together from the top. Use a small 2x4 which comes with the goal...and a 2 lb sledgehammer. 8) Install the 2 final screws which tie the middle post and bottom post together 9) Put the net and top cap on. The goal is pretty sturdy, and this is without me pouring anymore concrete down the top post...to fill the entire thing up...which some have recommended. I personally don't feel that is necessary.

This basketball system is super sturdy and went together well. We put it in on a Thursday and Friday after school the kids, mom and dad played all weekend and had a great time. Even though we asked our 13 year old not to dunk and hang on the rim, we caught him a few times and it was fine.

Can’t mention then quality, and it’s a gift that hasn’t been given and opened yet. However I’m impressed with the speed of shipment. It came several days ahead of schedule. The box is completely undamaged. It looks to be a great hoop for the price!!! I am happy with it. We can’t wait to give it to him. I know it will get hours of use.

Package arrived damaged appeared it had been dragged across a wooden pallet a piece of wood was wedged between the backboard and steel frame, also missing sticker that tells height of rim. I called customer service who seemed helpful but they sent the wrong sticker. As far as the goal system goes it appears fairly stout, my sixteen yr old son put it together in about 3 hr. Nice that the backboard has a steel frame. Height adjustment is farly easy although at the 10' it does not latch securely all the time. A little confusing on amount of concrete needed, one part said 6, 80# bags in another said 8, 80# bags it was the 8, 80# bags. Overall seems like a good system for the money.

This is perfect for our family! It is nice and sturdy, some what easy to assemble. Directions can be slightly confusing. Couple of the bolts look like they are wrong size but weren't. But overall excellent hoop! We plan to put an outdoor court up soon around it!

This is absolutely very nice in gound hoop system. Everybody in famlity loves it. Easy install (need two people at the end). very nice rebound. walmart price is unbeatable. all my friends love to play on this hoop. Same kind of system I see almost double in price. thanks Walmart such a low price.
